Good to see Bichette get hot. Vladdy is slowly coming around.

Hernandez has crazy power. If only he could get on base a bit more. Still, wouldn't say no if he hit like this the rest of the year :)

I thought Loups career would be over after this 3 batter rule. Maybe it ends after that

Can anyone explain to me why is Shaw batting 3rd?

Bo has been absolutely amazing and it's been good for him to effectively be batting behind two players who are extremely likely to draw a walk in Jansen ans Biggio because he regularly has a runner on 1st when he's up. If Vlad could just get his bat going the offense could really start to click.

Will be interesting to hear montoyo’s reasoning for not pinch hitting Shaw there

Tellez is quietly putting together a solid season. I especially like that his K rate has come down more in line with his minor league numbers and he's taking his walks. It would be nice if he could break the recent Blue Jay profile of high-K, middling power. If you're going to K a lot, I want to see a high SLG%. Or if you want to be truly elite, keep your Ks in line and still hit 30-40 a year like Bautista and Encarnacion.

I approve of Montoyo giving him regular playing time. We need to see what we have this guy and the potential is too good to have him on a short leash.

Montoyo asks for an intentional walk after getting bluffed by Cash with Choi on the on deck circle. It has now led to a needless bases loaded situation without Dolis coming in.

He’s literally the worst manager I’ve ever seen. Completely in over his head.

There is no reasoning for not doing that in the biggest AB of the game, he’s just an idiot.

Runners on 1st and 2nd with 0 out in a tie game. Montoyo has McGuire bunt the runners over to 2nd and 3rd. One out now. RHP on the mound. Travis Shaw on the bench. Yet, Drury hits for himself.

Fast forward to the 9th inning. Jays down 3-2. Drury leading off the inning with a RHP on the mound. Shaw pinch hits.

This season is only 60 games long and yet I still feel that's too much Montoyo for me.

Yea, when you burn an out bunting but then don't maximize your chance by PH'ing it's not a good look.

To be fair Drury had a good AB there and was a bit unlucky, but Montoya definitely just makes fundamentally poor decisions consistently.

Wow, Kiermaier totally butcher a chance to rob a HR vs the Jays? This must be some alternate universe.
