Giannis has robbed us of great basketball. The Suns vs Blazers would be an amazing play in-game showdown. Bucks getting smashed by the Grizz and the Suns are probably out.

We are in big trouble next season. Suns, Grizz, Blazers all could be vying big for the playoffs. Warriors are back too. Thats a lot of obstacles.

Have you all heard about the NBA adopting a policy of allowing the players to bring "friends" into the bubble. This is a very lightly veiled reference to the players wanting sex. I love sex, but it's not worth effing up this beautifully designed bubble system over. 2 Month's guys. Their are other things you can do in the meantime.

Brooklyn may actually do this... they may stop the Blazers from forcing their way into another postseason. My God.

Ah man, I am SO bummed we aren't getting the Blazers/Suns matchup. Would have been march madness caliber.

I would like to say it was amazing. I think however that it was just that they cared about trying and they have a good enough team when trying. Especially when other teams are not.

My point is the Grizzlys flat out didn't try much in this bubble. Their opponents had a walk in the park for most games. 2-6 record. Those games weren't really competitive. The wins or the losses. The Bucks either obviously. But this final game, come on.

Couple more examples of many:
Lakers have slept through the bubble so far. 3-5 They haven't fought for anything.

Clippers are there or not there. 4-3 Case in point, they lose to Brooklyn whose roster was more or less built the week before the bubble started by random players that were available.

Brooklyn 5-3 With their makeshift last minute roster, see spoiler, this record either impllies that NBA teams can win and compete pulling any odd nba players together, or that much of these bubble games have been a joke.
Spoiler:
Jarrett Allen
Justin Anderson
Chris Chiozza
Jamal Crawford
Donta Hall
Joe Harris
Tyler Johnson
Rodions Kurucs
Caris LeVert
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot
Jeremiah Martin
Dzanan Musa
Garrett Temple
Lance Thomas

I don't really want to rain upon what the Suns did. I think to have a perfect record in the bubble was still an accomplishment. But it's just not really amazing looking at how these many other teams were handling it.

Portland had to fight through some of these games too but look at some of these individual scoring results and you have to decide whether it's because they were playing out of their minds, or their opponents weren't bothering to defend or care much. Really good players like Booker and Dame, if trying, are going to throw up record like games in this environment. Halfway decnt offensive players like Levert and Trent Jr. and TJ Warren have been allowed to thrive much more than usual. I can only imagine what some Timerbwolves players would have averaged if they had played in this bubble with any kind of heart.

I agree with those that wanted to see the Suns/Portland play in game. That might have been the only game we could trust as a real battle. Something real to play for. We didn't get the game.

Nurkic just showed why Whiteside is not worth even 10mil in FA market.

I like Nurkic. Moves the ball well, good rebounder, moves good as a pnr roller and has a solid arsenal of moves as well. also a solid defender.

At 48mil/4yrs he is an excellent player for any team. I wonder what will be new contracts in coming FA market.

Another one of those draft and trade blunders, this time by Chicago.

The league has pretty tight rules about who is or isn't going to be allowed.

By tight rules you mean no hookers or groupies, but long term girlfriends, fiance's and wives right?

With Vlade gone I wonder if Walton is toast next?

I am really interested to know what the heck is wrong with dave Joerger. That guy has seen success in both Memphis and Sacramento yet he cant seem to get another coaching gig. I don't even see his name mentioned. Is there a bunch of stink on him or what?

I think he is supposed to be a bit abrasive. However, IMO most good coaches are at least a bit abrasive. Thibs took that a little far.

I remember when this board thought Walton was like the greatest thing since sliced bread

I saw that everywhere else but didn't remember seeing it here. I was always saying "Why does everyone think he's so great?" I never understood the hype, I see he had potential but people were already crowning him. His career has been mediocre city since he left Golden State. I thought the Kings were nuts when they fired Joerger for him.

Some just thought he would be a better option than Thibs.
