I never underestimate these freakish athletes, but that ankle went over pretty far. If it were my ankle, I'd be done for a good long while. I have terrible ankles though. I constantly see turns that would end me, and the guy's back the next game.

But, I'm bracing myself for the worst with this one.

At this point I'm just hoping to hear he should be ready to go in the second round if we make it there. That's best case scenario I think. I think we can get by the sixers without him but that's it.

Well, we were going to have to get used to life without Hayward eventually anyway? Idk, just trying to find some silver lining.

God, this **** sucks

A grade 3 strain is a full tear of an ankle ligament. Out "approximately 4 weeks" so he's probably done for all of the Toronto series too. Gonna be extremely tough to beat the Raptors without him.

The news is completely unsurprising and like I said with Hayward there are no small injuries.

We won't see Hayward again the rest of this year.

The Hayward signing is almost exactly what happened with Orlando when they signed Grant Hill.

Thank God max contracts are four years now and not seven. Hayward is completely unreliable and this signing was a complete bust.

I prepared myself for the worst cause that's just how it goes for this poor dude. Not surprised he'll be out for the raptors series. Ah well.

It's JAY time, friends.

**** hell, this is so annoying. This really could have been our year if we'd stayed healthy.

Celtics did go 14-6 in 20 games without him this year. Playoffs is a different monster though. This sucks. Why can't w have just a healthy playoff run

Probably without him the rest of the way. Smart makes the defense that much better but now the bench has to make up for Hayward's 30+ mins which sucks.
