Re: New York Yankees Thread
Well hopefully Judge and DJ get nothing more then a 10 day DL stint. The medical staff and trainers gotta get their **** together. Clint is 25 there is no reason Gardner and Hicks should be getting playing time over him you can work him in a DH as well, he should be the regular LF once Judge is back.

Very good start from Happ. Didn't quite get the quality start by being an out short, but very good nonetheless.

DJ injury is literally a freak injury, can't blame the staff there.
Judge should do A LOT more stretching but I think his height plays a part in his injuries, same with Stanton. They can lose all the muscle mass but still be a lot more injury prone than an average-sized MLB player.

The Red Sox are so bad they made Happ look halfway decent.

Re: New York Yankees Thread
This has been a strange year. We're walking over the Orioles and the Sox, even if Baltimore is otherwise doing well.

Judge seemed pretty pissed he was put on the DL, he gets injuries but he is the type who will play through it as we found out he did in last years ALCS. Stanton is another story he took himself out of the lineup in last years ALCS with the Yankees up 1-0.

It was because of a sore I just can’t respect that, Arod would never take himself out of a playoff game.

A-Rod would go 0-29 in a playoff series instead
I kid, 2009 was legendary, but A-Rod would've been just as good on the bench then be in the lineup in some of those post-season series prior.
And back to Judge, I saw his post-game presser from yesterday. He did look pissed, seemed like the AstroTurf or whatever fake turf Tropicana uses takes a toll on your legs. Him switching to tennis shoes fielding on fake turf could help.

Yanks should let all the top stars rest until the last 10 games of the season.

Yea those guys are just too big and not normal sizes for baseball. I would try to get more leaner if I was them though.

Chapman is here to eat your children. Those guns make him look like a monster.
Allowed 2 hits and a run, but his fastball topped out at 101. 2 straight sweeps for the Yanks.

Rays is the team I'm worried about. They're not far behind us for the top of ALE

True, but nothing wrong with 2 sweeps after 2 terrible series. Even with all the injuries, let's hope being away from Tropicana is enough against the Rays.

Only thing I can think of is his OBP last year that gave him the spot tonight. It sure as hell isn't his speed.

Re: New York Yankees Thread
The Rays are more serious about winning a world series then the Yankees are this doesn't surprise me at all.
