It was an old one - you must've been really excited about Gordon in 2018 and built up an insurmountable lead!

Oh yeah that thread lasted forever. And I had high hopes at one time of him and Kyrie even being a lethal duo. Oops.

Look at the losers who made the wall of shame. How about getting outside once and a while? You'll never see me on the wall of shame that is for sure.

Still frustrated about the injury now as well. I don't love Smart as a starter and puts a huge damper on my excitement about the playoffs.

I feel like I jinxed him because I had just said I was finally becoming a fan of his game.

Was fun while it lasted. See you and yo contract again next year! Feel like we’re either drafting his replacement this year and/or looking forward to seeing more of what we have in Romeo.

Smart will probably be the starter, but I really think he shouldn't be. After our top 6, our next five warmest bodies are Wanamaker, Kanter, Williams, Williams, Ojeleye. Four out of five of those are PF/Cs. Our guard depth is just non-existent if we start Smart. (I don't want Edwards or Langford seeing real minutes - things aren't nearly that dire yet.)

Walker / Wanamaker
Smart
Brown
Tatum / Ojeleye / Williams
Theis / Kanter / Williams

is a lot more unbalanced than

Walker / Smart / Wanamaker
Brown
Tatum
Ojeleye / Williams
Theis / Kanter / Williams

As painful as it is to think about Semi or Grant in the starting lineup the rest of the way, I think it might be the lesser of two evils.

Yeah, I think I go Semi. Put him on Horford instead of Jaylen. Al won't be able to move him. Maybe Semi hits a few 3s.
Then you at least got Smart/Kanter for some semblance of offense off the bench

Between the rehab and the baby, we may not see him until the end of the ECF or Finals.

Can someone clarify the timeline of the playoffs, the recovery and his baby's expected birth?

I just assumed he's done for the entire playoffs.

Seriously? Why is reported a sprain then? Damn guy can't have any luck with his ankle.

All grades of sprains involve a tear. It's probably a grade 2, partial tear, as a grade 2 could be a 4 week timetable. A complete tear would be months. It must be a partial tear for them to say 4 weeks.

It’s a grade 3 sprain it means a ligament is torn and the severity is unknown

I think they have enough to get past Philly but really doubtful they beat the Raptors. Their whole advantage is having the 3 wings and now that’s gone.
