I want to like Dame, but hard to respect players who hunt for those calls. Him and Harden are the worst.

Portland has 1 FGM in 10 minutes of basket. Yet, 16 points. Jesus.

Bron's playmaking... that is just super amazing. While his scoring game isn't as impressive as it once was... his playmaking is, I think, even better than we've ever seen.

A lot of soft whistles for both teams. Refs should let them play.

LeBron looks OK. Far cry from what he was showing right before the pandemic. That layoff, predictably, was a killer.

One thing that is legit is the Lakers defence, rotations are mostly on point, they are closing out strong, and protecting the rim well just 3 FGs made the 2qrt by one of the hottest NBA team.

Far cry from 3 weeks ago too though, which is the right trajectory.

I just don’t think Portland has what it takes to make this a long series. Lakers climbed out of that hole pretty easily after their offense woke up. Outside of Lillard they really have nothing.

I’m the guy who never stops talking about how great the NBA is now. I think that people often fail to enjoy the present because for some reason they always think that things were better 20 years ago. But if there’s one thing I’m a cranky old fogey about, it’s the three-point foul hunting that is becoming all too common. The NBA has to find a way to get rid of it. I love Dame, but jeez.

Portland is almost at 70% FTRate. That is absolutely insane.
