The Lebron '20 Thread (Pt. 5)

When Davis goes it alone on the bust out break, bad things happen (like 70% of the time).

Give the ball to a guard and fill the lane, please.

Not that +/- is everything, but kinda funny how much praise they're giving "Bubble Melo" in this game when he's a -10 on a team with a 5 point lead (and shooting 2-8).

Davis' passing from double teams is horrific.

I dread to think how bad he'd be as a PG if he didn't grow exponentially in HS leading into College.

LeBron barely looks like a scoring threat out there. This is just not going to cut it.

Within a possession. Not bad, given the start they had.

Morris and Caruso are definitely positive players for the Lakers today.

KCP and McGee can't be there at the same time. It's unplayable on offense.

13.6% from three as a team. If they could convert at anything resembling a league average rate, this game would be close to over. This is crazy! They’ve got to be approaching historical levels of shooting ineptitude at this point right? How is this even happening? Lol

I don't mind the 2 for 1 strategy but really he should have attacked the rim or at least try a 3 PT from a decent distance. His shot has been really off, 0 points outside of layups, dunks and free throws.

Bron gotta put up some points on the board this quarter. Can't close the game as a passer when no one is hitting jumpers.

Somewhat agree, but he has 14 asts thru 3 quarters so he's still drawing defenders and generating buckets.

Very few shooters on the roster. It's been an issue all season. Sometimes guys like KCP and Green catch fire for a stretch, but when they're cold the overall shooting becomes catastrophic.

14 assists with the team shooting 13% from three is insane.

The thing is... LeBron is not hitting jumpers himself. The lane is getting packed and packed with the Lakers not scoring anything from 3. LeBron is finding guys at great spots with no spacing, that is absolutely terrific. But he's not getting anythig for himself because he hasn't that ability without a jumper. Dude is older, he has adapted his game. But the team needs to score from 3 or others need to give him something easy to score. The problem is that the playmaking outside of him is also bad. Dude is playing well without the ball today.

No they are not, they have no "perimeter" scoring outside of him and virtually no shooting. This team has no resemblance of a "built around LeBron" team.

Sometimes I wonder if Kawhis stronger than LeBron now cuz there's no doubt in my mind he would've straight ripped that from CJ

I mean that's the price of having to build a team around scraps because you went all in chasing after stars.
