They're trying to see if he gets hot and opens up the lane.

I agree but I think that's more due to Kawhi's freakish hand size/grip strength.

Damn, it really is Kuz's team now. I'm in.

Very few shooters on the roster. It's been an issue all season. Sometimes guys like KCP and Green catch fire for a stretch, but when they're cold the overall shooting becomes catastrophic.

No they are not, they have no "perimeter" scoring outside of him and virtually no shooting. This team has no resemblance of a "built around LeBron" team.

Compared to last season it's a vintage LeBron team I guess

Yeah he would have but that's more hand size so he's got better grip strength.

I mean that's the price of having to built a team around scraps because you went all in chasing after stars.

And also basically doing absolutely nothing of value in the 5 years prior despite having tons of top picks.

He has 0 will to pass the ball. But on a good day he can definitely spark the game from the bench. Expect him to win the Lakers some games... and lose them others with his unwillingness to pass the ball.

True true, it's just been something I've tried to observe between the two of them. Nothing conclusive yet, other than one loose ball Kawhi almost got during their second game this season that I've never seen someone beat Lebron to when he had the inside track on someone.

Right now the name of the game is to survive LeBron's brief mid 4Q respite around 6:00

I actually like Kuz. Just thought they were overfeeding him a bit at the start of the quarter, but it seems to be have been a good idea.

Dwight has done a phenomenal job cutting off Dame on screens.

That charge call challenge felt like it could be the game breaker if the Lakers score first. That might be the case. Dame almost claimed the momentum back with that 3 but Bron came up big time with that response.

2 seconds of basketball, 4 fouls... what the hell man. Such a disappointment these refs.

That DG miss felt like a killer. He needs to start hitting at some point right?

AD's perimeter shooting is wildly overrated (including by himself).

Wow. That floater by AD and the corner 3 with all the time in the world for Green... Those are shots they have to make. It's a shame the Lakers have been missing these type of shots all game long.

Why hasn't Vogel called a timeoout yet?
