Clippers are the only team that scares me....even though I'm rooting against the Lakers since I like the Blazers underdog story, if the Raptors made it to the finals I'm pretty sure 95% of us would much rather face the Lakers over the Clippers.

The Lakers wont make the Finals.

Portland will give them a series at minimum.

Houston I would argue should be favoured over the Lakers in a hypothetical series.

Clips will win the west because they have the wing defenders and multiple shot creators which will be particularly effective against teams that depend on one or two playmakers on the perimeter.

Ive said it before and Il say it again, but Lebron hasnt been the best player in the world for at least a couple seasons now.

You would never see teams sagging off and daring the two best players on the planet (Kawhi or Durant) to beat them from midrange, downtown, or at the line.

Giannis also has similar weaknesses to Lebron fwiw. No real go to move(s) in the halfcourt. With the Hayward injury, Im liking a Raps vs Clips final. Lakers and Bucks have not been playing well in the bubble.

I think Dallas wins the series because Luka is Magic. Porzingis just needs to stay in the game.

We'll see. Clips on paper match up well with Dallas, and the results in all their meetings this year suggest its more likely the series will be a 4-0 sweep than going 7 games.

I just realized last night that Rodney Hood and Trevor Ariza aren't even healthy...... That's 2 wings that are capable shooters that give you a lot of lineup versatility and can at least be a body to put on LeBron.

Clippers don't look scary at all.

Luka was killing them and they would've actually won if Porzingis stayed in.

Bubble basketball is hella different.

That Dame performance yesterday has a lot of people talking about him in the same light as Curry who is obviously a bit upset about it. Reading between the lines, I think Curry is a bit jealous of Dame:

Read on Twitter

My feeling is that Dame has always been a more impressive player. He is a stronger shooter; Curry's deep shot form is more of a heave rather than a pull-up. Dame is just cooler all-around. Better looking shoes, can rap and has more of a street rep than Curry who came from money and had basketball handed to him by his NBA dad.

Curry has won championships and MVPs but all of those were impacted by the teams around him. Dame's best teammate is CJ McCollum who isn't even an all-NBA caliber player. If Portland wins this series against LA, to me it is almost equivalent to a championship. There is no way Portland should even be close to LA considering the season they just had.

They had undersized Gary Trent Jr. on Lebron.

KCP is garbage!!! I don't understand why Dion Waiters didn't get his 2nd half minutes.

If the Blazers had Nurkic and Collins the whole season, they would be right there with Houston, OKC and Utah. If Hood wasn't hurt maybe they'd be in the tier with the Lakers, Clippers and Nuggets.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2019_standings.html

People forget that the Blazers finished 3rd in the West last season, just 1 game behind the Nuggets for #2.

They beat #6 OKC with "that's a bad shot", then beat the Nuggets in 7 before losing to GS in the WCF.

Agree with everything except Nurk is Lillards best teammate.

Mad respect to Dame. He is absolutely hoopin' HOOPIN' right now.

That being said, Steph is on another level. Real talk. Dame has narrowed the gap, no doubt. No Gwen Stefani.

I honestly think that we can get Embiid on this team in the future.

My question is, would we want him?

I feel like Masai would slap the living s*** out of him.

Maybe Masai is the one that can rein him in?
