I was thinking the same exact thing. He has a weird game. Lebron kinda ruined his development with the Lakers.

Meh. Forget Beal. Booker is better right now and is like 4 years younger. Bubble Book is a better defender too. He's liked enough by his other players, that he might just be able to convince AD, Giannis or someone else to come here if we can piece together a few of wins and get in the playoffs.

Yeah fair enough. I'm not sold on Beal either (look a few pages back for me discussing the pros/cons in depth-it's a more complicated situation than you've briefly described in your post), but I think a trio of Beal/Booker/AD would probably vault us to the top of the conference though. AD would get to be the 3rd option in that scenario which is nice, and could just focus on defense since he is like a top 5 defender in the league.

I’d like to think basketball players have a higher standard than that. Also, there’s been port visits where there has been a long line outside of Medical because sailors caught something. I know the NBA has orientation for rookies on this sort of thing and the diseases you can get.

I played college football and a marine! I have seen many trains ran on girls! This doesn't sound too far fetched

After thinking about it, I guess you’re right. It depends on the group of guys.

it's probably more opportunistic rather than a pre-planned train. Walking into a homies hotel room while he's getting some and I guess she was keen to add to her list of achievements.

True. I honestly don't think AD is leaving but Giannis is real possibility and he's almost as good defender as AD. Id love to have either obviously. If either came i wonder if they'd even attempt to keep Ayton or would he be the sign and trade piece to get 1 of those dudes?

It sucks that so much of our future as a west power depends on Ayton playing up to potential. He didn't play that well in the bubble and still got us like 16/11/1.5 If he plays like he's capable of next season then who really has a inside-outside combo like him and Book? Not LAL as Booker shoots better then Bron, not Portland -Nurk isn't as good as Ayton (should be). Maybe NOP if they find the right coach but still Book is better then BI

Yeah Giannis is definitely better than AD. I think he's in a seperate tier from Davis, in fact. We'd need to fix our spacing with Giannis though. Rubio and Ayton wouldn't be getting it done. Milwaukee has a lineup of Brook Lopez (very key), Middleton, and Matthews chucking away from 3. Even RoLo is shooting 3s off the bench for them now (0.5 3PG in 18 min). They should probably even look to get more shooters around Giannis, as Bledsoe is their starter with only 1.2 3PG.

Yes 100% Lopez is huge for that team I think and allows Giannis to operate in the paint. I'd like to put him at the 5 as its probably easier to find a 4 that can shoot then another 5 that shoots like Lopez. Obviously if he comes he'll decide if he wanted to play there though.

I like Baynes but mostly because I think that he can be a sort of big man coach for Ayton. Help him play with more toughness and confidence out there. He comes from the Celts so I know he knows what good coaching is about. His play is good enough. Given a choice between the 2 I'd take him over Saric especially if we can get a quality big in the draft. If we were lucky enough to get Giannis though I'd like someone with more range at the 5-that's if we couldn't convince Giannis himself to play that spot.

James Jones to represent the Suns for the lottery. I wonder why we aren't more creative with that.

Of all the bubble lotto teams, only Wiz and Kings have players representing it seems. Maybe with the short turnaround, most teams are electing to let the players get what time away they can? Maybe they asked and no one was interested because of COVID and JJ had to assume responsibilities himself. Who knows.

Nevermind if he came to phoenix. Imagine AD leaves LA this offseason?
The Lakers would not own their own pick for like 6 or 7 years. That team would be in a similar situation as Brooklyn was in after the KG trade.
LeBron would have to be pissed too. AD is his last chance at success. If he leaves, LBJ probably will request a trade soon after so he can have a chance to win again.
