Every LeBron team other than the Kyrie teams have relied entirely on LeBron to run the team, and he's always been able to raise his game in the playoffs, but as he ages it gets harder and harder. He says he wants another player to handle the ball and run the offense, but he doesn't know how to develop a team around him.

It's kind of sad, but I also kind of really hope to watch the Lakers flame out.

NBA can't afford to have Lakers crash out in the first round.

They need to deliver big playoffs ratings or else the finances of the league will be in trouble.

Lakers lose, their huge fanbase tunes off.

So expect officiating shenanigans, like the time the the Lakers went to the FT line 32 times in the 4th quarter of a crucial playoffs game vs. the Kings.

As it is, Lebron was throwing Blazers around to get his 17 rebounds. Now from now on, Howard is going to be able to play like Shaq, push with impunity and get away with it.

Donovan Mitchell follows u 57-point game with a 30-point game in game 2, 10-14 FG and 6-7 3-point shooting.

In his career he's a 44/35.5/82.4 shooter.

In his previous two playoffs, he shot 42/31.3/90.7 and 32.1/25.6/72.7.

Either he's taken a couple of gears up or Nuggets have no perimeter defenders this year. Garry Harris is suppose to be their best perimeter defender but he's out.

Nuggets have no perimeter defenders. Murray is trash on that end, MPJ is a mess and Jokic is slow af. Jazz win this series

Doncic is a monster. He and Zinga are perfect together. If hey can land a 3rd star type, they'll be title contenders for the next decade. Amazing how quickly Doncic got elite.

Maybe it's a matchup thing but Dallas can beat the Clippers, it was kinda bs with the KP ejection that cost them game 1.

Clippers of course are deep and have great iso offensive and defensive guys, but they don't play on any type of string the way us and Dallas do on both ends.

Hardaway is actually a pretty good 3rd scorer, gives me faith in what we think Wiggins can do.

This Kleber guy is so good on defense, his timing, effort, and rotations are so spot on. Him and Draymond together would bother the hell out of other teams.

Yeah Clippers supposedly have this vaunted defense with Kawhi and PG13. But they also have a bunch of other forwards, Green, Morris, Shamet.

Yet they can be beaten off the dribble by little guys.

However, Mavs shot the lights out from 3 while Clips were cold. I guess defensive rotation could be better for the Clippers.

They tried trapping Luka, so he didn't score as much but gave the Mavs plenty of looks.

I don't know that this is a pattern that will continue. But with Kawhi and PG13 expected to score, they may take some possessions off on the other end of the court. Mavs are a great scoring team but we will see if they can lock down.

the real question here is: will the unicorn stay healthy enough for the next decade?
the main concern on porzingis has always been this one.

embiid is showing big stamina issues, in the current NBA you can't play that kind of expensive game running so often from one side to the other. he has basically an autonomy of 20' a game.

Just another reason why C’s aren’t worth maximum money, no matter how good they are. That’s also another reason why, winning the Wiseman sweepstakes on rookie contract is so important for us.

Could’ve used mcgee last year against the raptors.

Doris Burke saying the Embiid is checked out in Philly.

Could Wiseman+pieces entice?

Minny unlikely to move the 1st for him with KAT present. We could have a chance.

Not sure I believe that, but if he checks out that easily is he really worth $150M for the next 4 years?

Thing about Embiid is the injury and stamina.

When he's able to play, he's very effective for stretches. But he hasn't had elite spacing.

However, if he's content to take elbow jumpers instead of play some bully ball, not helpful.
