Listening to the Butler post game, and its really something to hear the affinity he has for Bam. He references him multiple times as the guy for the Heat.

Nice character win, we did not have momentum on our side, heat wasn't playing great and their bench players were playing superb basketball... we had to fight to get this one
by the way , Dragon Age next year is a must if we don't get a Big Time player

Can y’all imagine if Zo had Jimmy instead of choker Mashburn? We would have won a chip with Timmy, Jimmy and Zo.

Timmy, Jimmy, and Zo rolls off the tongue too.

That was just an ill-fated team. Timmy's knees were gone after two seasons. Who knew peak Zo would lose a kidney. Too many "coulda beens" with that team.

Felt like Mash got the short end of the stick, and was not really a Heat type player. Charlotte comes back shortly after we trade away Mashburn, the anti-Heat type team if you will, and smacks us so hard. He was good, just not for us.

I remember watching that series being terrified of Baron Davis and dreaming of having a big fast strong athletic physical young playmaking guard whom no one could handle... then a few years later we draft Wade and return the favor to Charlotte. Feltgoodman

Poor DJJ. Only dude in the box score to be negative on +/- cause Spo went Spotard and put him at the 5 and we got blitzed.

Criminal chit from Erik.

Hopefully not retina damage, could be nasty.

Might turn him into Victor Goggledipo though. Mad.

That ruined the one Suns season where I felt they were going to win it all with Shaq and Amar'e. Ouf. Had Shaq on minute and game restrictions and it was working.

Baron was so dynamite. They had another young guy who just killed us as well. Can't remember his name now.

It's funny that I felt like it was over when Mash did that behind the back assist to PJ (I think) at the basket. I was thinking we didn't have any creative plays like that in years. Too old school. Too tight.

But then, as you say, we got Wade. Mr. Creativity.

Herro was unquestionably the right pick. If I would have had my way we would have drafted Nassir or Bol. Truth be told, Herro wasn't even in my sights. Doubt I would have envisioned him being what he has been.

Was nowhere near my radar either DoM. I wanted Romeo or Clarke.

Clarke still would've been real nice, he's gonna be a player. Memphis got a steal there at #21. That's why we really should keep our pick this year, guys like Clarke slide to picks in that range for reasons unknown.

Hell, no-one knew Cam Johnson was gonna be a lottery pick (which looked gross at the time but solid now).

Some solid players who went in the 20's last year:

- Matisse Thybulle (#20)
- Brandon Clarke (#21)
- Grant Williams (#22)
- Darius Bazley (#23)
- Nassir Little (#25)
- Keldon Johnson (#29 - looked good in bubble play)

Jury is definitely no longer out on Herro. He's legit, going to be a quality starter in this league for a long time IMO. Still not sure about trading all those picks for KZ, particularly as we could've had Bol, but the Heat scouts have earned the right.

Wanted Romeo/Clarke so bad, in hindsight Herro/Clarke would've been the cake

C's guard rotation so deep, Rome's basically a stash along with their upcoming pick-- which will very likely be a guard; they need to free my dawg
