Most players in the NBA are "decent" defenders when they try. Even Harden is a good defender when he's locked in.

The key difference is that Siakam ascended the NBA ranks starting with the intangibles and then learned how to score later.

I don't know about Siakam, but Tatum is a great defender and will make all-defense teams

Kawhi is one of those as well...as much as Uncle Dennis. Don't feel sad at all.
