It's amazing how badly Brand and the Sixers screwed this up. The Embiid/Simmons era is done unless the NBA decides to bring back a free amnesty due to COVID. Zero chance of building anything decent with the Harris and Horford contracts on the books.

It's terrible really.

Watching these LA teams it really hammers home how amazing it is that every one of our rotation players can hit 3s and defend at an elite level.

Those LA teams are both so full of exploitable holes on both ends of the court, while we're airtight.

But the mainstream NBA media will tell you the Clippers are stacked with talent and the deepest team in the league. Meanwhile they have a bunch of guys that only play 1 side of the ball.

the game plan is simple. You don’t start a player the the Celtics already showed you they’re not going to guard I mean it’s not rocket science you know the Celtics are not guarding Marc Gasol which means it’s 1 extra player roaming around thats going to always be there to help on pascal, Lowry or Fred and makes it harder for these players to get going.. Anybody that watched the last Game heard jack point this out at least 4 times. THEY’RE NOT GUARDING GASOL!!

Yeah, we're in a severe talent deficit against the Celts, even without Hayward. I think Nurse HAS to bring TDII into the mix. I'm not saying Terrence will save us, but he's the only chance Raps have to match the Celts' shooting. When he's on, he's like Russell Westbrook with a 3-point shot. (Don't @ me - the Houston commentators in our preseason games against them made the comparison).

And, as much as I hate to agree with Raptorsnorth, Serge has to start. The team was cooking back in March when he was starting and his 3-point shot was dropping. Serge started when we beat the Celts in December (a few days after the Xmas game). The fact that Marc is starting now only gives me hope that it's a typical Nurse diversionary tactic. He's determined not to show Stevens ANYTHING.

Tatums game is really kind of slow and predictable. Seems like OG can do a good job containing him on ball. Off ball he is quite the threat though since he’s shooting the lights out currently.
