That was a pleasant surpise, a Jays sweep was the last thing I was expecting after the disaster Sunday was.

What do the jays do for the trade deadline? Any predictions?

I suspect they do little or nothing. Read articles that this isn't expected to be a busy deadline because so many teams remain in the hunt for a spot in the expanded playoffs. Not as many sellers.

I really didn't expect Randal Grichuk to be our best offensive player this year. If only he could skip April, May, and June every year.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

This year's theme; at least we're better than Boston.

We're almost in the playoffs!
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

.500 for at least a few hours. Julian Merryweather with a very nice relief appearance. Seems to add depth to Romano, Dolis, Borucki, Kay, Cole, Bass and Hatch. Nice pen.

Our few hours at .500 in playoff position may be the height of our season. I hope everyone is enjoying it.

Don't worry. Starting to appear evident by just not having any COVID cases at the end of the season might get us in.
