it's not enough that you vote for biden, you also have to shut up and act like you enjoy it. that's what it boils down to. they should be happy you're at least willing to compromise your values

They invite all of these "moderate" republicans and wonder why they lose elections. These two parties are really not that much different after all, I guess. They just proved that point. What does a moderate republican believe in that is consistent with Democratic principles other than their alleged hatred of Trump? John Kasich is anti-women and anti-worker. Those, in and of themselves, should disqualify anyone from speaking at a DNC event ... "but we're so much more compassionate than Trump." FOH

Point is to show they're not radical leftists like they're being labeled, has nothing to do with whether or not they agree on anything. I mean they're going too far with this kumbaya ****, but there is a point to it.

Seems to be a rift between Muslim voters and the DNC after the Biden campaign condemned Sarsour. Might be an issue if the races are close like they were last time in the rust belt, where there is a sizeable Muslim population.

They were stupid to put themselves in that situation by letting her speak at the convention.
Regardless, these days are trump rules, they shouldve been vague as **** in their repudiations.

Not really. They want Muslim votes, and they picked the right person for that. Then threw her under the bus after some backlash (which was mostly pro-Trumpers trying to paint certain dems as anti-semite). Instead of holding your ground, DNC fell right into that trap.

It could have been a good moment for unity that they always talked about.

Orange Man Bad/ Deplorables didn't work in 2016 why will it work now? I still don't think the Dems get what brought Trump to power.

Anyway, I believe Biden is a sacrificial lamb. They know no one is beating Trump this year so why not give old Joe a nice parting gift and not use up a rising star on a failed run.

I skimmed through most of the convention. Did they talk about China's crime against human rights at all? Mainly about what the Chinese government is doing to Hong Kong and the Uyghurs?

The problem with painting yourself as a good guy is that you must always do so. She has more than enough dirt where it's noticeable and can be used against her. Trump doesnt do this so he can shake off any media criticism easily. Dems need to learn that good guy label means jack **** and until then, avoid avoidable situations like this.

I have no doubt there's something there, but I do worry that they won't be able to make it stick. Between the Mueller Report and now the SSCI report; it's kinda mindblowing that Trump, through repetition by himself and sycophants, essentially was able to convince so many people that the impeachment was a witch hunt.

If the nixon administration happened in this era, not only do I think that watergate wouldve been shrugged off, but Agnew wouldve still been vp as well. Both sides care very little about crimes if it keeps them in power. Democrats are only limited because they love that useless good guy label for some reason.
