Just not the greatest sources of intel on Wiseman ... He was targeted as the top dog in the draft, but then he's out after 3 games and it wasn't due to performance. I would have no issue with highly athletic guys like Wiseman, Toppin, etc as our pick, but overall, I do tend to favor Deni Avdija in that 3-4th slot.

Deni Avdija just seems to have more natural basketball sense compared to many of the other prospects. Adding a player like Avdija brings a legit SF starter that can still co-exist with Hernangomaz and/or Layman. I do still want to add some toughness to the team, but skillwise, Deni seems like a good roll of the dice.

My 2 cents

7:30 PM CDT that means it starts in an hour. You will know who moved up as soon as their slotted spot is skipped. Hopefully very little of none of that will be going on before getting to the #3 pick.

I think if we were to draft him, he would have to show some solid on-ball ability, both offensively and defensively. But I personally would find that more likely than Okongwu to do the same, though again I could be wrong.

He'd be a pretty easy fit. As seamless as anyone in the Top 10 imo.

Are you saying that Wiseman would be a better perimeter defender than OK Express?

He has the most obvious combo of size/skill level to be legit, but he needs a legit coach given his question marks

It's been said by others before, but he does give off similar vibes to Wiggins.

The three tier one guys for me are Ball, Edwards, and Wiseman. I’d probably pick Ball after watching a half dozen of his Australian games (his full games are on Facebook Watch). Edwards has talent but Georgia may have been better with him off the court last year. Didn’t play hard in the games I saw and had no idea how to play winning basketball. Definite Wiggins vibe.

No matter who we pick, I’m just glad we moved up. Never thought I’d see it.

I’d also be open to moving the pick for a young-ish star (Beal?) if one hits the market.

Why not? Cheaper than what Beasley is going to command, DLO is the PG, Edwards has comparisons to Donovan Mitchell/dwade, he can stroke the 3, and is built.
