Aaron Nesmith is one of the best shooters in the draft. Projected around 10-11. Maybe trade back and draft Nesmith.

I personally would like to see deni avdija on the bulls. I know best player available is the strategy, but getting a wing like him is hard for me to pass up.

He's not that well proven though- played against weak comp, had an inconsistent shot until recently. Definitely some red flags with him.

wild stuff

An iffy center who put up 20 pts, 11 rbs, 3 blocks per game (on 23 minutes per game) on 80% from the field and 70% from the line, with 9 FT attempts per game as a freshman....

Of course they move up in a draft we didn’t really care for.Still though 4th pick is a lot better than 7 so we ll obviously take it and hope for the best.

The funniest part about tonight was the Knicks moving down to 8, they just can’t catch a break and always get screwed lol.

Anthony Edwards and Wiseman will be gone before we pick.

LaMello won't be available either so we'll have to trust in Eversley's allegedly knowledge for finding potentially good players like Avidja or Okoro.

It's hard to get excited about a big that can't shoot. Which is why I'm down on Carter who doesn't prioritize mastering the corner 3.

I think Wiseman will develop a good shooting touch from the outside. I like his size and athleticism. This Bulls team needs someone who can consistently get easy baskets. My biggest problem with the 19-20 Bulls had to be the number of tough jump shots that had to drop in order for them to win. Wiseman can solve that problem more than anyone in this draft class. I do have my questions about his footwork though.

I was hoping to get in Wiseman-range.

Downside on Toppin is that he turned 22 before the COVID shutdowns... darn old for a "junior" - combined with pedestrian rebounding and block numbers....

1. MIN - Anthony Edwards
It's a no brainer that Wiseman doesn't go #1 here, about the only team that wouldn't consider it. Wiseman has zero PF capability. Russell is their PG, so they almost certainly take the best wing.

2. GSW - Wiseman
There's a great chance they trade this for someone who helps them next season, but either way I think the player with the most hype goes #2 and that's Wiseman.

3. CHA - Deni/OB
This might seem high for either guy, but CHA has two PGs both averaging 32+ mpg and 18 ppg. Lamelo isn't the type of PG that can slide to SG either, shooting is the worst aspect of his game. PJ & Miles are their "bigs" at 6' 6" and 6' 7", with Zeller at the 5. I think MJ would go for some size here.

4. CHI - Hayes/LaMelo/Haliburton

This draft order came out wonderfully for Chicago even though we didn't get #1. Because all 3 teams ahead of us are completely loaded at the PG position (Steph Curry, D.Russell, Devonte), which leaves us as the first team picking with a clear need at PG.

There's a solid chance that picking #4 we pick whoever we would have picked at #1.

Hey man I went to UIC. They are worse than you think. So I agree with you.

There are already rumors AK likes Avdija and Hayes. To that, I would imagine we would consider Lamelo if he drops and maybe Toppin.

DASMACKDOWN wrote:One a side note, I wonder what Golden St does now. They would have picked Edwards as he could helped with depth and they could bring him slowly.

But I dont think they have any real use for Wiseman or Ball. So I wonder if they try to trade down or trade for a disgruntled star.

ESPN was saying they were trading it regardless of the draft position. They want another guy who fits with Steph/Klay for another series of title runs

I think you'd win that about 50% of the time, at least. The problem is, if teams are passing on those guys, why???

Maybe I should be clearer. I also predict that not all three of those guys are going to be the best 3 players in this draft. I am pray someone takes Ball in top 3. Id be excited to get wiseman or Edwards, but honestly I’m just as excited about Avdja and put me in the minority that loves Toppin too. All of these halbertons, Okoros, Hayes etc are all the same to me and I couldn’t care less about them. If we end up picking one of them, I’m sure ill convince myself how great it is, but IDK.

That's true. But I'm also not jumping up and down about Advija for that reason.
