Hayes or (god willing) Lamelo for me. I can’t get excited about Deni in this range.

I personally would like to see deni avdija on the bulls. I know best player available is the strategy, but getting a wing like him is hard for me to pass up.

He's not that well proven though- played against weak comp, had an inconsistent shot until recently. Definitely some red flags with him.

Isn’t being unproven the case for every one of these players though? How many of them have played professionally? The nba is the best league in the world so there will always be that risk and learning curve. If your not sold on him, i understand, but no matter who we pick, no one is a guaranteed star.

he played three games dude

two of them were against uic and south carolina state

Sure. If he had a whole season and put up those numbers, to include against stronger competition, he'd be the guaranteed no. 1 overall pick. But he was a freshman who put up dominant type numbers in his first 3 games - like an elite prospect should.

My mock and Ideas

Wolves - Edwards
Warriors- Wiseman
Hornets- Ball
Bulls- Avdija

This is if the top 4 teams make there picks and there is no trades.

I can see a lot of trades being made in the top 4. For instance I can see Wolves/Hornets trade around Edwards for #3 and Bridges.
Can see the Bulls talking to the Warriors in order to get Ball. Maybe something like 2/Wiggins for 4/Porter/Young or 4/Porter/22 top 10 protected pick.

Think without a lot of top stars in the draft can see lots of trades happening in the league.

Haliburton is my preference with Hayes #2.

If Edwards somehow drops, I think you have to take him just due to the potential.

If Ball or Wiseman somehow drop, I think you still take Hayes or Haliburton.

Yep. I’d say Melo, Deni, and Hayes in that order.

4 is a great spot to trade back and pick a wing like Vassell or Nesmith and high enough to use in a trade package for a big upgrade.

I think Deni will be the pick.

But I dont think they have any real use for Wiseman or Ball. So I wonder if they try to trade down or trade for a disgruntled star.

ESPN was saying they were trading it regardless of the draft position. They want another guy who fits with Steph/Klay for another series of title runs

I don’t know how they Dubs can trade for a star since they are salary capped unless they trade Draymond or Wiggins out for like Bradley Beal.

Wouldn't Toppin be a good fit for them? With Durant gone, they need more scoring, and he's a mature 23 years old. I could also see them taking Wiseman- someone to give them some size v. the Lakers.

Is he a center?

Wish it would have been 2018, but what are you gonna do? Gotta try to make the best of it. Better than 7-11, or however low we could've been.

I say trade that pick , it's a weak draft and we won't get a great player picking 4.

Can't disagree with that. If a trade pops up that makes sense, do it.
I won't agree about picking 4 over 7 but still not excited about it.But I'm beginning to be optimistic about picking Avidja or Okoro ,I like both.

No matter what though, heading into draft day, it's better to be sitting at 4 than 7 (or below) when it comes to picking or making moves. It was a good day for the Bulls.

Timberwolves almost surely go Edwards unless he bombs his interview or something (not impossible).

The Warriors trade their pick?

Hornets are a mystery. Wiseman kind of fits there as there aren't any top of the line wing prospects.

Was just thinking the same.

I dont think it's the board - it's this bizarre year. I literally found out the lottery was today 20 minutes ago.

Same here.
