I'm watching the Bucks game and the announcer just said Blazers were helped in their first game because they just play the equivalent of 9 playoff games. So, for those of you who thought the hard play by Blazers leading up to the game was a negative because Blazers would are worn out, it turns out the extra wear and tear was an advantage.

We need to do a much better job rebounding or we will lose. We got dominated at times. We only did ok when Nurk was in the game.

I wonder if the Fakers will start Bron's buddy JR? I think I agree with Chad Doing, saying that he thinks LA will try to force it more down low, and try relying on the refs to blow even more bogus whistles. Hope I'm wrong.

If the league is really worried about ratings and viewership, why are they allowing the refs to make playoff games almost unwatchable?

Did anyone just hear Dame agree with my earlier assessment of why Whiteside has been so bitter and inconsistent? Dame sees it, and is going to get Whiteside to buy in.... Standing by, can't wait to see it.

Stotts was asked about Collins' injury pregame. He said a repeat MRI today, with an injury update later today.

Seems like Portland didn't come out with a lot of energy. Or at least they were playing at a slow pace

Terrible defense by CJ in back to back possessions with an added terrible pull up jumper in between

Puke. Ugly 1st quarter for Portland. Hassan was pretty brutal.

Expected this to be a bad first quarter for us based on last game. I think we can still recover but I'm not expecting to win the game. We're getting good looks, just not going down.

Concern here is the lack of energy from Hassan. I've come to expect the missed bunnies he short rims himself (still not sure how that's possible with his size and his arms). But he's making sloppy, slow passes and also just straight up got a rebound stolen out of his hands.

Need to work on the rebounding definitely. Howard was surrounded by four of us right there.

yeah true, and i think a lot of portland guys have been low energy as well. Hezonja came in with some energy which is nice, although his execution isn't perfect.

Needed that three. This is an.. ugly offensive performance by us so far outside of Dame.

Good to see Gary getting some shots to go down. He's a big X factor in the series.
