Maybe give Mann a chance.
Lou & Trez are fun,but you won't win a ring relying on them. Also both are missing practice time. They should be used to give starters a rest.
But some here say Mann is a G leaguer. But I'm all for it. See what he can do. If anything he'll bother Luka with his height. Yeah being a rookie he'll make a mistake or two but I'm sure he'll settle down. It'll be baptism by fire.
Play Noah on Boban and tell Zu to man up and not bite on every pump fake by KP.
Adjustments are not only made on defense but offense also. ISO ball is not going to work for us. We need to create points by slashing and cutting or attacking the paint. Let them actually defend us. We're not tiring them out because our offense is so stagnant.
Mann could be helpful, who knows, we'll see if he gets time. Defense is almost universally the biggest difficult for rookies, and even the ones who look good tend to be poor at rotations and sticking to the scheme, etc.
I'm not going to expect any large increase in cutting at it isn't how the offense is set up. A big loss is the off screen activity that Shamet provided as a scorer. His slump and seeming lack of confidence takes away a threat and action that helps to promote ball movement. Harrell not being game ready is also taking out the extent of the roll man threat in pick and roll.
Isolation really has not been that heavy, at least no different than the regular season. Heck they scored enough last game to win, just didn't defend well enough, made up poor shooting with FT's. If George shoots a still poor 6/17 FG and 3/10 3PT, the team has 119 pts and that's around a 114 Ortg, so if George shoots decently, the exact same game is a very good offensive performance, but giving up 127 still remains a problem.
