It is obviously LaMelo Ball, only guy who fits the criteria for the Wolves, shot and event creator, advanced for his age, great feel and size, shooting looks promising overall, when you pick 1 you gotta go with a guy with that type of ceiling

Rosas is too smart to really consider anyone else

Almost assuredly going to be Edwards. 3 level scorer with an NBA frame makes the most sense as a secondary shot maker alongside the PnR combo of D'lo and KAT. Temperament-wise, I'm not sure it's great as none of those guys are particularly fiery or have any interest in defense but the talent is undeniable and the positional fit is spot on. A starting 5 of D'lo, Beasley, Edwards, Hernangomez, KAT will really be able to score. Defense will still be a work in progress.

It should be Edwards. Edwards in a 5 out offense should be able to put up points.

Biggest fear is they take lamelo and then dubs take Edwards.

It will probably be either Ball or Edwards, but for some gut reason I could see a surprise pick of Avdija (a trade down would be preferable).

I think they take either ball or wiseman.

I don’t see the need for another scoring only player when they have KAT and DLo that only offer scoring.

I think they either take melo to set up KAT and DLO
Or they play wiseman to man the paint and allow KAT to play the 4

Anthony Edwards is the best talent, and the best fit. No brainer. No reason to pick a ball dominant guy who is skinny, weak, mediocre athletically, and can't score well from any of the 3 levels, but shoots like he's Kobe.

Edwards has all the physical tools to be an impact wing on both ends, and is already pretty advanced for his age.

You know, your takes would almost have some sort of value if you weren't so obnoxious all the time. Get off your high horse sometimes.

por que?

We already have a low motor player in Wiggins. Having a second one at the same time. I’d like to work on low motor player 1 at a time. Otherwise I’d be fine with it.

If Minnesota is smart they trade #1.

There is nobody in this draft that will be an all star

I stopped going back at like 1978, but I don't think there has ever been a draft that didn't have at least one all star, and even going back to 1978, there was always at least 1 all star to be had in the top 5. I don't think there is an MVP here, but lets pump the brakes a little bit on these guys. Someone is going to surprise outside of the top 5, and one of the top tier athletes will show out.

The odds of Rosas taking Edwards is super low. He just drafted Culver last year, they just traded for Beasley, they still have Okogie. Plus they’re holding that spot for Booker if he ever comes available. Ball makes a lot of sense for Rosas, but I don’t think he’s going to fit personality-wise with their two stars. He can play beside Russell, but that defense could be terrible. He might start off as a back up type of player on this team because they’re not waiting for more guys to develop as shown by all the trades Rosas made mid-season. I like Wiseman here just because I think he has the most upside.

I'm not saying Edwards should be the pick, really don't have an opinion yet. But why is Lamelo great fit and Edwards terrible. Both should fit fine alongside DLo. And frankly, Culver and Okogie really shouldn't influence who you draft at 1.
