CP3 for Tobias has to happen. Just like a Hield type shooting guard shooter move.
We need a alpha who can be a voice for our young stars that they respect . Jimmy was close but Chris Paul is a HOF bounded player that commands things.
We need this badly.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread 2019-2020 Post Season
Even if Paul doesn't fit with our stars, he only has 2 years left on his deal. This would be his last shot at winning a ring. I could see OKC taking Horford or Harris if their pick is included in the deal.
I'd prefer Holiday over Paul due to age but would gladly take either. There are avenues to acquiring either, even if it might be difficult.

how bad is this?
horford, korkmaz, & scott to charlotte for scary terry & cody zeller? might have to be picks involved as well.

It's a massive risk for us to take, but it makes sense. Two major players on the Thunder already have a rapport with Tobias when they were on the Clippers together and Tobi was scoring 20ppg: SGA and Gallinari.
CP3 knows he's not going to be winning anything on the Thunder, so there's an outside chance that he will check his ego at the door in an effort for one last attempt at a championship. Thunder hand the keys over to SGA and build around him.
Makes sense, but we could waste 2-3 years with CP3 sowing discord in the locker room or get hurt. Not a great situation to be in, but hey, we signed two mediocre players to massive contracts!

You hit the nail on the head. It sucks to think we're in a desperate situation given all we started with, but here we are. We just have to make the best of what's left.
SGA/Schroder
Dort/Ferguson
Harris/Roberson
Gallo/Harris
Adams/Noel
Just to see how it looks from an OKC perspective. It could work, I just worry about what additional compensation they'd ask for. Harris + #34 + #58 would be ideal. It'd be a tough pill to swallow to trade them back their pick after lucking out at #21. I'd prefer to use it to acquire someone else like Holiday, Hield, or LaVine. We could then use #36 and #49 on depth.

We can get hield separately

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread 2019-2020 Post Season
I could see the Bucks making a play for him, but the only package that works is Bledsoe + Brook + Illyasova. Not sure if either team would do that.
Then there's the Heat. Since Goran is expiring, their package would look like Iguodala + Hill + small filler. Again, don't see how that's a desirable trade for either team.
Lastly, there's the Clippers. Beverly + Lou + Zubac + McGruder. A very odd package that neither team would pursue.
If you're making a move for CP3, it's to win-now. Who else would even be interested in him?
I don't think we have much competition for him other than OKC just hanging onto him for 2 more years...

Most of these deals must be an easy no from the other side because I'm way too excited to accept them

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread 2019-2020 Post Season
I have a hard time finding any team in this league that will be willing to work with us on a trade for Harris. We're most certainly stuck with at least one of him or Horford. If I had to pick one to be stuck with, it would be Horford because he's clearly good insurance for when Embiid gets his yearly injury(s)...And he can function with Simmons. We don't lose much. Harris is the player I would desperately try and move. There aren't many offers out there. We'd most certainly have to give up a draft pick or two to get Chris Paul, but I would do it, just to rid us of that monstrous contract that Harris has.
The Kings make a potentially good trade partner if we could get Hield in return. I'm not sure how it would work money wise, but Harris is a potential fit out west with them. Same with Denver. Our options are extremely slim with trading Harris right now. I'm not so sure it can be done without giving up a ton of draft picks. I'd really like for us to hold on to that #21 pick if at all possible. We're going to need as much youth as we can get, but if trading that pick washes our hands of Harris we may not have a choice. Talk to me in a few months, but as of right now, he has absolutely got to go this offseason as soon as possible.

I don't think we can find any reasonable way to dump Harris without burning a ton of assets in the process. We're stuck with him I'm afraid, which means another year or two of Simmons and Embiid's prime burned away with no chance to compete because of $35M/yr FLUSHED.

I'm pretty comfortable attaching Thybulle to deals if the return is right.

This is by far the best case offseason. But, both deals are going to be rejected. Harris is one of the worst contracts in the league.

this is by far I think my favorite I've seen, well done. However I think you start shake at the 3 in that roster minutes break down. He gets thybulle's 6 at SG, another 4 from him at SF, and 12 from korkmaz's... for a total of 22 minutes for shake. That's a good team with the RIGHT HEAD COACH to run PnR and the correct hedging or switching defense

It is by far the best. But, both trades aren't happening. Do you guys realize how toxic Horford and Harris's contracts are?
