Watching this Clips-Mavs games and seeing Boban Marjanovic, I'm asking myself, "what does Boban do that Tacko can't do? Or be taught to do with more time and experience?"
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

I wouldn't trade Tacko for Boban - I think he has a chance to be better and is a smart and very hard working young man.
Full of sound and fury; signifying nothing

Welp.
Clippers into Round 2 - Luca just wrenched his ankle.

Hopefully Luka's ankle is ok. I was looking forward to seeing the Mavs make a cinderella run, at least forcing the Clipps to seven games, but they're no fun with no Luka.

I wouldn't mind the mavs winning, but they cant beat the lakers. I want clips to advance to give the lakers hell. If the lakers get knocked out early, then I dont care

he thought he had KL but that's a real winner right there. KL said, "we are a TEAM, we got his back boy, try someone else!" (not exactly a quote but close enough).

Kawhi carrying, PG13 sucked ass again Per usual under pressure, but no one cares when you got arguably the best playoff performer of all time when healthy. I would never want Paul George being the best player of my team. Like in Indy and OKC, you’re gonna be a treadmill team. Last year Kawhi was not healthy from mid Milwaukee series and finals. He is looking even better than he did last playoffs to begin the playoffs so far.

The key ingredient is time.
Boban signed with CSKA Moscow at 22. When he came over from Europe he was 27, now he's 31. So Boban has managed to gradually improve his coordination/condition/skills over a long period. Most freakishly big guys.... their bodies don't last 10 years.

And even still, he's a 10mpg player, who plays in half his team's regular season games. This has not changed very much over his 5 years in the league.
Minutes per season: 508; 293; 337; 681; 422
MPG: 9.4; 8.4; 8.6; 11.7; 9.6
There's a reason he's played for 5 teams in 5 years, even while being cheap, marginally useful, and a good teammate: it's not worth it to spend much developmental time on a guy like that, when the payoff is severely capped. If you can pick him up for cheap as a finished product, cool, but it's hardly worth it to develop him yourself, or pass on any other asset for his sake.

Nick Nurse won Coach of the Year.
Joke's on them. In the last two decades, the only coach to win COTY and the NBA title in the same year was Pop (2003, 2014).

So predictable, Orlando getting crushed. Cut the lead in the 4th to 12. Now back to 17.

The Lakers shot 31 free throws in a single half. That has to be some sort of record.
