This is by far the best case offseason. But, both deals are going to be rejected. Harris is one of the worst contracts in the league.

okc isnt getting anything for paul though, especially if he continues to **** the bed this playoffs, which we should all be hoping he does

I hate to tell you guys, but we are going to have to include Simmons or Embiid to optimize the roster. We need to trade both Harris and Horford and we can't do that without including one of Embiid or Simmons.

needs to be simmons.

4 years and he is arguably worse at shooting than before, and other than defense, has not gotten any better on offense in the half court

Simmons/Harris to Charlotte, 3rd pick to a 3rd team, and legit player(s) who fit better with Embiid to the Sixers needs to happen.

Probably can't even trade Simmons right now with his injury situation.

Rockets are paying too much for their 6th man in Gordon and we’re paying ours in Horford too much.
A swap of those two would make sense for us both.
At least they’d both be back in the starting 5 in their natural roles.
Gordon Richardson Harris Simmons and Embiid with a new coach
Unless the thunder would give us CP3 for the same package

I agree Jrue is better, but if we can get either player it’s an easy yes, would you agree? I think I like our depth chart better with the second set of trades, not to mention the younger age.

It’s unlikely we’ll be able to unload both Horford and Harris this summer. I’d prioritize Harris because Horford’s deal is 1 year shorter and he holds some value as a vet and Embiid insurance.

They are. OKC changed their path from rebuilding to maintaining during the season. CP3 availability ended.

I do think Embiid for SGA and Adams could work but I am not sure either team is interested.

My guess is Philly has to get rid of Harris or Horford contract. Not sure how. I could see a Harris for Conley Jr deal but not sure how appealing that is to Philly. Conley Jr. Looks washed.

ExplosionsInDaSky wrote:I have a hard time finding any team in this league that will be willing to work with us on a trade for Harris. We're most certainly stuck with at least one of him or Horford. If I had to pick one to be stuck with, it would be Horford because he's clearly good insurance for when Embiid gets his yearly injury(s)...And he can function with Simmons. We don't lose much. Harris is the player I would desperately try and move. There aren't many offers out there. We'd most certainly have to give up a draft pick or two to get Chris Paul, but I would do it, just to rid us of that monstrous contract that Harris has.

The Kings make a potentially good trade partner if we could get Hield in return. I'm not sure how it would work money wise, but Harris is a potential fit out west with them. Same with Denver. Our options are extremely slim with trading Harris right now. I'm not so sure it can be done without giving up a ton of draft picks. I'd really like for us to hold on to that #21 pick if at all possible. We're going to need as much youth as we can get, but if trading that pick washes our hands of Harris we may not have a choice. Talk to me in a few months, but as of right now, he has absolutely got to go this offseason as soon as possible.

Kings have a money issue. I am not sure this will help at all. They really don't need Harris either. I would say the Suns could use Harris but that contract is a albatross. If there is a team I think will do it. Its Detroit but does Blake Griffin appeal to you?

If there is a team, it has to be the Dallas Mavericks.

That package wouldn’t even land OKC Simmons.

Would yall entertain an Embiid for Lavine and Markkanen trade? Just run and shoot 3s around Ben Simmons.

Not even a Bulls fan, just thinking about some trades

Not enough of a return for Embiid. We'd at least need Colby White and their first attached.

Markannen is useless and Lavine is not particularly useful himself. In addition i doubt Embiid would like to stay with the rebuilding Bulls.

Trading CP3 opens up more opportunity for Shai and Dennis. And if Gallo walks, Harris is an excellent replacement.

If Utah would do Conley for Harris, that is acceptable as well.

Markkanen is only interesting if he is next to Embiid.

I think Memphis would pass in order to see what they can do with their cap in the 2021 offseason.

Need to trade Embiid or Simmons.

Embiid Trade:

Heat In

Embiid

Heat Out

Bam
Herro
Robinson
Olynyk
1st Round Pick

Pelicans In:

Olynyk
Mike Scott
Herro
Heat 1st

Pelicans Out:

Jrue Holiday

Sixers In:

Jrue Holiday
Bam
Robinson

Sixers Out:

Embiid
Mike Scott
-------------------
Trade Horford/2020 1st for Eric Gordon

PG- Jrue Holiday, Shake Milton
SG- Josh Richardson, Eric Gordon
SF- Tobias Harris, Matisse
PF- Ben Simmons, Duncan Robinson
C- Bam Adebeyo

Need to either surround Ben or Joel with shooters. These trades kind of leave a depressing roster, and one that has to be paid next summer. Doesn't look good to me.
