Sadly it won’t matter one bit. People are profoundly ignorant of how politics work, even those who are engaged. Remember all of Congress always gets the blame when the Senate blocks legislation. Remember the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act that the Democrats passed and Senate couldn’t even be bothered to bring up for a vote or put out their own legislation? Yeah silence on that from everyone, but hey Joe Biden said “you ain’t black!”
It doesn’t matter man. Republicans are willing to sacrifice their lives and the lives of their families to trigger the Libs. All those brain dead right leaning voters in places like Kentucky, South Carolina, Missouri, Georgia, Alabama and the rest of those red states that should be voting out these Senators are going to see the R next to the name and punch their death sentence. Oh and on the left we have people who shall remain nameless who will continue to complain Corporate/Centrist/Establishment Democrats don’t do anything for middle and low income people despite passing an overwhelming number of legislation and bills like this one for example. It’s all a tornado of stupidity, ignorance and bull.
I'm with you. There's lot of misplaced faux outrage going on in lieu of basic appreciation of how things actually work. I saw several posting in here that Pelosi is wack and "everybody knows it" so I said please explain why she is wack. Crickets. I don't know man, but if people were really that plugged in to history they would balance out their appropriation of historical references for the purposes of scalp hunting and self-aggrandizement with a healthy dose of acknowledgment that trying to work inside a system as convoluted as congressional politics is going to be a slog for any well-meaning politician whether you label them left, progressive or centrist. Personally, I think Pelosi has been a strong oppositional force to Trump and he's obviously quite intimidated by her. We're dealing with a system whose checks and balances are being hammered at by a criminal attorney general on behalf of a Mussolini cartoon and she's thrown down with them time and again. But all we hear is she's wack.
Because people treat propaganda and talking points as facts. They don’t ever question who it’s coming from or why. That’s why depending on who you ask Nancy Pelosi is both a extremist, radical leftist who’s going to implement socialism(like that’s a bad thing) and is a Republican light who’s hates the squad and is keeping congress from passing any Progressive legislation. I mean it’s really insane if you think about it and just shows how stupid everything is. The truth is she’s one of the most successful Speakers of the House, helped lead Democrats to historic midterm results and passed landmark legislation in the ACA which is not an easy thing to do when caucus encompasses many political ideologies. And she absolutely could have caved to Trump, especially when Democrats were in the minority but she didn’t and Trump absolutely hates her. I understand disliking her on style, but the hate she gets is not rooted in any type of objective reasoning, especially compared to previous speakers of the House.
She is a very skilled speaker of the house. Seems her skill and experience is undervalued in an age when people of various political persuasions opt for whatever is shiny and new. Not only is she very smart and elite in her grasp of procedural politics, she's a badass and I respect her. I get goosebumps every time I think of this:

That's the kind of savage I like
