I would trade lauri and a piece for the 2. No way would I trade him to move up from 4, thats ridiculous. Not that Lauri is Elton brand, but he was on track to be a year ago, and this feels like the brand for chandler trade which is miserable.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

I’m thinking the same thing.

Lauri for 8 or 10? I’d prefer 10 and Cam Johnson.

I’m also ok waiting on Lauri and seeing if we can pump his value and then sell at deadline.

Lauri would have to really show me something to believe he can fit with us in the future.

I'm changing my view about Lauri, won't be so bad giving him some time with a new coach but at the same time I think he could be a good asset for getting another pick.

Because as soon as he puts on a Warriors uniform, he'll become the Tim Drake to Curry/Thompson's Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson. Once he plays well, they'll eventually use him to land a guy like Embiid. All the while the #2 pick will struggle for playing time in Chicago. Not interested in seeing that scenario play out.

Any rookie can struggle for getting PT ,it can't be a reason for excluding a trade up and you're acting like Lauri will be our starting PF for a long time and we don't know that for sure, not with his play in this season.

Actually I think Lauri would fit very well in the GSW offense with lots of 3 point shots.

Lauri and Gafford for #2 (no swap) would work for me. Take 1 gamble (Wiseman/LaMelo) and 1 safe (Deni/Okongwu).

If Dubs trade #2 they will getting an established star and dumping Wiggins. If they can’t then they will try to get an asset they can grow. Ball or Edwards in their system could show enough to then land that star.

No way they trade 2 for Lauri. Maybe if they could dump Wiggins for Otto too they would but I think they want something much better.

Who eats Wiggins contract for the 2nd pick? Takes away our 2021 cap space. I’d do that in a normal draft but not in this one!

I'm not saying Avdija is going to be the next Luka, in fact, I'm not convinced Luka is even a good comparison for him. However, if Avdija is half of what Luka is you got yourself a really damn good player.

So Luka put up 43 Points, 13 Assists, 17 Rebounds today

Half of Luka is = 21.5 Points, 6.5 Assists, 8.5 Rebounds

No brainier if that's the case. Avdija at #4.

Sounds good to me as well.

Lauri would be a good fit in Golden State.

He has been compared with Turkoglu.

Warriors might even be considering a bigger deal to use with their 2nd pick like trading it for Joel embiid or another star. But if they are dealing we need to be in on it other teams will have good packages which is why I said the 4th lauri and a protected 1st next year is about the best package the warriors can get considering the position of our pick. I'm for going all in. We need a franchise corner stone.

There is no way Philly would consider the #2 for Joel Embiid. Embiid put up 30 PPG/13 RPG in the playoffs. He still has upside. Would take multiple assets/picks to land him and GS would need to send them Wiggins. Philly going to likely keep Embiid and Simmons and try again next year.

Would Phil. trade Embiid (who might try to force his way to GS) for Wiggins, #2 (Wiseman) and Minn #1 Pick in 2021 (top 3 protected, and unprotected in 2022) ?

After Philly went years going into tank mode, I doubt the fan base is going to approve of another rebuild which will be longer. I really don't see Philly breaking things up. They will try to make some more moves and make another push hoping Embiid and Simmons improve.

So you want Philly to have three of the worst contracts in the league with Wiggins, Horford, and Harris?
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

Why would you want to add two players from this draft?

Player evaluation really doesn't work that way, but I'm sure you already know that.

I don't know where this comparision started, but people need to stop with this.

Luka is a generational player, Deni is going to be lucky to be a starter calibre player in this league, and even that, I'm not entirely convinced he can be.

I wouldn't rule out Ball falling to #4. If Minny passes on him, I can see the Warriors and Charlotte taking Deni/Wiseman over Ball.

This is what I keep saying. I actually think ball to Chicago (whether we like it or not) is very much in play.
