Doc Rivers is the worst coach I have ever seen in the NBA. It's depressing how much talent this franchise has wasted with him as the coach. He needs to be fired ASAP.

The Clippers are in serious trouble in this series.

I can't get over how invisible Paul George was out there. He blew a layup in OT that he had no business missing, and aside from that, I can't remember one thing he did in the second half.

PER of 9.9 and a TS% of 43.
Before today's atrocity.
He's been horrific out there.

the worst part is that he's not even actively bad by trying to do too much. He just is completely invisible out there for the entire second half.

Luka is incredible and Paul George is awful.
Can you imagine the narrative if PG was lebron or Westbrook’s teammate? Not that I blame kawhi it’s solely on PG, just saying.
And seriously how the **** is Donic this good. It’s impossible

Amazing game. And good things the Mavs pulled it out at the end to keep the series alive. Game 5 should be lit, hope Porizingis is back for that one.

Even KG could only carry this guy to one ring. And they got taken to 7 by the under .500 Hawks.
Doc is seriously the worst coach ever.

Luka's scoring reminds me very much of Magic's. Not the threes, of course, but his tough angled layups, floaters, and bank shots. Magic was maybe the best guard ever at scoring in the paint without getting all the way to the rim and I don't think we've seen a player with size, passing, and touch quite like Magic until Luka.

You missed him getting roasted by Seth Curry off the dribble?

I always had the thought in the back of my mind of Paul George doing this in the playoffs, I thought with Kawhi there he’d be much more stable when it matters...I’m in disbelief when I shouldn’t be. If we lose this series I think he gets shipped, you can’t have this happening again.
Luka is the next Bron, meaning his ceiling is GOAT. Looked like the best player out there, those numbers don’t lie.

This is just awful coaching, and the worst part is that it's not going to change. Doc has had a personal agenda against playing Zubac all season. He would rather keep playing Trez and lose than give more minutes to one of our best players. Fans have been complaining about this all year, reporters have asked Doc about this several times, Carlisle has started countering Trez with Boban every time he checks into the game, and still Doc will never change his rotations.

Re: 2019-20 NBA Season Discussion
All this crazy scoring is really starting to make performances like Mitchell's feel less special. He's an awesome player, don't get me wrong, but I mean two 50+ games in the same series? And then you have Jamal Murray putting up 50 the same game. And Toronto dropping 150 in a game tonight. And all these bubble games routinely ending with scores in the 120s and even 130s.
I don't want a return to early-mid 00s basketball, but it'd be nice to see these scoring eruptions not be so routine so that they actually feel special. I don't know if defenses are going to smarten up and adjust first or if the NBA's actually going to have to crack down on enforcing certain rules/implementing new ones to make it a little harder on offenses.

I can't imagine LAC giving up on PG after one season, they gave up everything to get him. That would be an all time bad look if they did.

Have no ill will toward PG, and like him. But I'm still enjoying the memes, and yeah he had a lot of these in OKC too, but had a scapegoat quite a few times. That was the one constant in OKC, there was generally a quick scapegoat.

Its really just cuz of how spaced out everything is you can turn it into a 1v1 game sometimes

Re: 2019-20 NBA Season Discussion
One thing I feel that hurts PG specifically with this Clippers team is the lack of playmaking and Doc's apparent dismissal of off-ball movement. It's basically all PnR iso ball which is definitely not PGs strong suit. He's best coming off of screens and in catch and shoot situations. Not ball handling. I didn't watch the entire game today but I don't think I saw one play where he came off a screen to get a shot.
Granted who knows if he'd make them anyways, but atleast you'd feel better about those shots than what he's been getting so far.
Ultimately this is one of Kawhi's major drawbacks as a player. He's not a distributor, he's not gonna set guys up within an offense like LeBron or Westbrook or all these other guys. Sure he can drive and kick and make a pass to a big off a switch, but he's not gonna stand at the top of the back court and pass it to a guy on the wing coming off a screen with a set play that he calls out.
Doc definitely has been out coached in this series up till this point too. I think they're really lucky Dallas has had health issues, or it could easily be 3-1 or worse.
