They had a debate on ESPN recently about which young star you would build an NBA roster around.

Almost everyone (correctly) chose Luka.

I’m more amazed today than ever that a few chose Zion. Ridiculous.

*** for this debate they looked at just the past couple drafts. Obviously Giannis is in the discussion overall.

Zion- Luka comparison is like comparing Durant to Blake Griffin. Just because one can jump higher that doesn't make him better at playing basketball

God it kills me to watch Doncic playing so insanely well as a 2nd year player. Biggest failure of this franchise was allowing those absolutely poisonous late season wins cost us a single percentage point for the chance of getting him. But at least we drafted Vuc’s backup! FML sideways.

Oh and as I’m typing this Doncic nails a 3 at the buzzer to win his 2nd playoff game. FML sideways twice.

Luka, like Giannis, is so easy to like. It's refreshing to have likeable superstars again.

I’m half joking but screw it; I’m going to create a DallasNed account and going to join the Mavericks board until our incompetent ownership group sells the team. I hate bandwagon fans so much but I hate our ownership 10 times more.

Haha. I've got a few teams in the West I'm keeping a closer eye on these days because they're more interesting than the Magic. Nuggets, Dallas, Jazz, New Orleans, Memphis, Portland... Phoenix, Spurs... Wolves, Warriors, Thunder... Kings, I guess. Even the Clippers (apart from Playoff P).

I get what you're saying but why compare those two out of nowhere? 2nd year player to a rookie? I think a lot of people felt Luka could be this good.
