We could run a team in 2020 of,

Mitchell/Dragic
Butler/DJJr
Robinson/Iggy
Crowder/Olynyk
Bam/Leonard

Then we'd also have enough for a Giannis max and the ability to resign Mitchell, Bam and Robinson in 2021.

That’s assuming the salary cap stays where it is at though, right?

Not really, Donovan would be on $5.2mil next season and would be in the same boat as Bam in 2021 with a 15mil cap hold. Giannis's max will scale to whatever the salary cap is that year and we will have roughly a max of $41.7mil cap space if the cap stays the same and if it decreases I doubt it goes far enough below that to not be able to offer Giannis a max or very close to it.

Is PG injured or some ****? Freakin' bum. Kawhi going to have to do a carry job. Don't want to gas up Toronto; but if he never left, the Raptors easily repeat.

Wut?

Don't you dare question bish Lifer :wavefinger:

He's right you know. They are having a fun little series but let's face it neither team will make it past next round let alone WCFs. Kawhi or Luka will stomp all over Joe Ingles. They always get in the way of other teams having fun because they are good regular szn teams and they are tough at home but they do nothing in the playoffs. Did I mention Joe Ingles?

You got me Iggs - Spida on a 'nother level right now. Bam our consolation prize but those pesky Jazz cock blocked us from a good one.

Pretty sure the Nuggets would've taken OG Anunoby too but he went the pick before them lol - panicked into Tyler Lydon (dafuq even happened to this guy?).

Nuggets definitely ain't copping enough heat for that chit show of a trade. Woy. Fut.

Damn, imagine if they even took Bam? Jokic and Bam? Too tasty for words.

That is too easy of a take, Toronto might still repeat. PG’s pic has always been on milk cartons come playoff time. Not the kind of player you want to have as your top player as a playoff contender. Nothing new. Only think that sucks for Clippers (no one feels sorry for them) is SGA is EXACTLY the kind of elite PG they are missing on that team moving forward to make plays for others guys. Everything they do now is pretty much ISO, that is why George is struggling with contested shots even playing against an average defensive team because he is not as good as Kawhi who can get to his spots no matter what and hit fade away turn back jumpers all day like MJ when he is not bullying his way to the paint or hitting wide open 3s because they are afraid to crowd his space for a blowby.

Lost in PG shenanigan is how insane of a scorer Lou Wil is. That guy, when in the zone, seems to hit everything.

But I've noticed that whenever he's on a scoring barrage Clippers are usually barely keeping the game close and hardly pulling away. He must be coughing up close to equal amount on the other end. Otherwise it makes no sense for Clippers to struggle this much so often

If Clips get knocked out in first round, do they enter desperation mode to get some results? Or do they just stick with what they got and give it another go next year?

I don't know. Do I look like Clippers to you? Ask that annoying California guy who goes to Clippers game sometimes because he can't afford Lakers games.

Clippers, just like Lakers with AD, gave up their future for PG13. I don't know what they can do to make the team any better. They can't probably resign guys like Morris and Reggie Jackson. Lou will be 34 and he's a tiny man. Pat Bev doesn't seem like he can stay healthy. Who wants PG for 30 mil per year in pandemic? They probably have no choice but to give it another go and that's hardly the end of the world as long as Kawhi

Montrezl Harrell is a FA and should command a big contract. He might want a bigger role. If Clippers fail, I expect him to seek a starting role somewhere else. He's kinda like Bam without any skills. who wants that lol

If I were the Clippers I'd be kind of pissed at Doc. He hasn't managed to get Kawhi and PG playing in unison all year. Unless it was a result of injury woes I'd be really concerned with why he hasn't got them firing on all cylinders. Seemed like a no brainer. How you have Beverly, PG, Kawhi, Morris and Harrell as your go to lineup and you aren't completely locking teams up makes me think he's not doing a good job getting the most out of his guys.

To be honest outside of his stint with the Boston big 3 he really hasn't been that impressive. His teams with the Clippers in the early days even underachieved Paul, Griffin, Redick, Jordan, Crawford as their core with notable additions like Hedo Türkoğlu, Paul Pierce, Darren Collison, Matt Barnes, Austin Rivers, Jeff Green and Luc Mbah a Moute over those years.

Looking back I feel like Doc gets too much credit as a coach. He's a decent regular season coach but when it comes to the playoffs he seems to fall off.

Wiseman gonna be a t-pup DoM. Book(er) it. Warrior fans are already pissed. Think Hassan if he realized his potential + high BBIQ. That’s a no brainer DoM.

Wise move. Makes up for KAT deficiencies. Draft him and round out the roster with veteran shooters and defenders.
