Meh. Went pretty much as expected despite the solid end to the regular season. Good luck next round, Toronto.

GG, you guys are going to be a force to reckon with when Durant comes back. And as long as Irving doesn't do his antics.

Thanks but it won’t matter with a core of KD, Dinwiddie, LeVert, Harris, Allen Jordan, Claxton around him. He’s good with us.

What is the total salary of currently active Nets players? Good trivia.

Rich I did the math on the active Nets:

$22,474,226 total money on the floor for the Nets. This does NOT include Jamal Crawford, who basically stole 200,000 from Joe Tsai

Now let's look at Philly:

Tobias Harris: $32,742,000 :o

Al Horford: $28,000,000 :o

Joel Embiid: $27,504,630

I'm not mad at all. I'm actually quite happy about how things worked out.

Did that include Joe Harris?

I wonder how Toronto’s deep reserves would have done if the roles were reversed. Guys like Boucher, Thomas etc.

Don't wonder. Be glad your guys are relatively healthy and took care of business.

Eh. Went the way most people expected, if we are being honest.

Caris was mad nice as a scorer and playmaker. Curious to see how he plays next season with the actual Nets team available.

Nets playing quick should be fun to witness next season.

Watched it delayed again. After that early run in the third I knew we were toast. The more temple and tlc clanked open threes, the more the raptors ball hawked and packed the paint, the more turnovers, the more fast breaks. Then defensively the raps had the switching adjustment well and truly figured out, they were getting any match up they wanted... and if we went back to no switching they'd be drilling threes in our face all day, because we can't make rotations as well as they run their offense. So much cohesion and versatility offensively and defensively for the raps. Gotta hand it to them, they're well constructed. Kawhi probably would have been better off staying.

Yes, that included Joe's salary.

If this is even remotely true, and I don't believe it because KD and Kyrie would be fools to give up their leverage over Joe Tsai, then I think the Nets should absolutely not trade Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen. I see how it works first.

Agreed, MDB. This is great news. Although I have my doubts on the fit of our supporting cast around Kyrie and Kevin, 3 years is a ton more runway than 2. We will need to figure out who our stoppers can be, but we'll score with the best of em.

I’m glad this season is over. It was a lost season from jump for obvious reasons. I’m glad we did get to the playoffs and proved how tough we really are, but yea I’m over it.

Ok let’s be honest. We knew they would get swept. Match ups with Toronto were horrible to start with and the fact we were missing half the team made them even worse.

I’m ok with this. Unlike philly fans which are going crazy right now. The nets did as best as they could with the players they had. I think we have a very bright future. I think guys stepped up into roles they weren’t used to and did well. TLC is a player we should keep. I know he had a bad game. But he’s playing out of position the whole time. He’s a three and a role player not a starting pf. Rodi is not a center. Hell he is not even a pf. I think when Durant and Irving and Spencer are back and healthy this team will kick some butt.

its nice fluff if true but honestly irrelavant. if a star wants out they get out regardless of contract. look at PG.

and really the 2 year window is more KDs peak/prime then contract status

Oh I mean the stuff about KD and Kyrie waiving their opt out clauses. they would be insane to do so.

Man Ibaka could not miss this series, I really hope he would accept a MLE to come play with his bestie. He definitely expanded his game from his younger days. Dude can make the mid range and the 3 pt shot while playing some tough defense. He's a true x factor.
