Gonna be a shame when exactly zero things change because the franchise can't admit the problem is Simmons being afraid to shoot and Embiid being invisible in the 4th quarters.

Their top candidate is Ty Lue lol yeah I'm sure that'll fix their issues

Everything seems to be falling in place for the fakers. The rockets and the clippers haven’t gotten the job done. Both series will be 2-2 while the lakers likely will push the series to 3-1.

So disappointing to see the Pacers getting swept for the 2nd time in a row in R1... I really like their core and their young players. Such a pitty.

Three sweeps in the East. Who would have thought Bucks would be the team not to?

Portland is pathetic. It seems like Carmelo is a bad luck charm for any team.

Clippers and Rockets, who were supposed to be the obstacles in Lakers getting out of the West, aren't exactly impressing either.

Okay, too harsh, can't really fire Stotts when you put Hezonja, Melo, and Whiteside on the same team together lol.

That’s my point it seems like everything’s falling into place for lebroni. The clippers have to be the most disappointing of them all.

I do fear it may come down to the East to stop the Lakers at this rate.

I didn't watch any of that series but am really surprised the Pacers got swept yet again. I would have thought they could have won a game or two vs. Miami. I agree, it's a shame.

We can't put all our hopes into an 8th seed that had to work like hell just to get in. They are likely spent.

In a pivotal game Portland gives up 43 1st quarter points. I mean, I get that they lost Ariza but Jesus. Why doesn't Stotts care about defense ever?
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

And one of the 2 guys they got back in the restart (Collins) is already gone again.

He does. Blazers were near the top of defensive efficiency just two years ago even with Dame/CJ. Doesn't have the pieces now. It's Nurkic, maybe Trent, and no one else.

Yeah, the front office is trash. This list in the ringer article is brutal.

https://www.theringer.com/nba/2020/8/24/21400093/brett-brown-fired-philadelphia-76ers-candidates
Drafted Markelle Fultz over Jayson Tatum
Failed to re-sign JJ Redick, the team’s best/only shooter
Traded away Robert Covington and Dario Saric for a Jimmy Butler rental
Hired Elton Brand as GM, who had no experience in the position
Failed to re-sign Butler
Traded Mikal Bridges for Zhaire Smith and a 2021 first-round pick
Traded away Landry Shamet, their own lottery-protected first-rounder in 2020, Miami’s unprotected first in 2021, and two second-rounders for Tobias Harris, Mike Scott, and Boban Marjanovic
Signed Tobias Harris to a five-year, $180 million contract to be the 3-point shooter they’d been missing; Harris made two 3s all series against the Celtics
Signed Al Horford to a four-year, $109 million contract; he was rendered useless

Watching Carmelo do anything else but just catch and shoot for the blazers is horrible....when he catches and shoots ok he’s fine, watching him try and dribble or go iso is an adventure
