Great for the rnc maybe. But yes it was a pretty good speech, probably wouldve been more effective if half the night wasnt filled with racist rhetoric. Shouldve contained that to the other 3 days.

But yes his attacks on biden were effective ( he even did a decent job of mixing the lies with the truth), and the way he capped off his speech, was fairly powerful.

All we can do is make the best decisions/votes given the choices before us. I just wish this was solely a popular vote. The way the Republicans have gerrymandered the swing states still scares the hell out of me.

Big Ten football being canceled is going to help Trump in the swing states of Michigan and Pennsylvania. Biden needs to win back both those states but unfortunately this local issue in both these states are going to cut hard for Trump if SEC, ACC and Big 12 actually play Football this fall. Trump is already using this issue in his campaign and it’s going to be effective in blaming academia and Democratic Governors for Big Ten Football shutdown.

I watched a little bit of it it is the lies that bother me. How people will believe these lies without fact checking. It is not a conservative liberal thing. It is about honesty and truth.

Lets review some of what I caught

No Trump has not kept 100% of his promises more like less then half between golf trips and the 3 miles of new border wall he has ben busy.
His lock down and denial of Covid hurt this country. First there was no full travel ban till the 2nd of feb and that was not full , and his leadership and denial (remember magically go away) has been the cause of 178k thousand American deaths

The middle class has stagnated since 2017 no growth flat because of his trade wares and bogus tax break. If you are middle class what you made in 2017 is about what you made now. It could be worse there is no historic job growth since trump screwed the pooch with covid any gains he might have claimed or is claiming is a false hood. we are basically in a covid recession and could be there for yrs

Biden is not after your guns, he is not taking them away redneck America sleep safely at night knowing your ar15 is still your in case you want to rise again.

Biden is not for Universal health care

There was no Hastag Settle for Biden by AOC

These are the actions of a campaign that know they’re going to lose. The Republican Party didn’t even have a campaign platform, just verbal fellatio of Trump. They are a complete joke that no one should let near power for the next 2 decades.

I wouldn't be surprised if they win. I think Biden wins the popular vote by a landslide. But Trump has the electoral college once again.

There's a lot rural area in these states. Most of them are white (no Latin) with lower incomes, who tend to vote Trump and be conservative. Lot of them don't think like you or me. They blame the state politicians, not Trump.

I wouldn't say it is all about the Big 10, but the shutdown in general they didn't like at all.

I honestly don't think it's out of the question that this is the deciding factor for this state. I can see these states going to Trump.

But Biden will likely win other states like AZ, so it might be a wash.
