FVV/Brown/Powell and Ibaka/Gasol/Theis are interchangeable. I have Ibaka ahead of the pack of bigs due to his recent play (normally he'd be the worst of the 3).

Hayward would be in the FVV/Brown/Powell tier if he were playing.

Overall, very close talent level.

Anyone putting Jayson Tatum above Kyle Lowry doesn't have a clue about all the little things you need to do to win at the highest level, and is blinded by recency bias. Even without the intangibles 23.4/7/3/1.4 is not better than 19.4/5/7.5/1.4.

He's no better than Kyle Lowry defensively, and he certainly can't orchestrate a defense like Kyle can. The Raptors also do worse without Kyle on the floor, not that that isn't true of all good players.

The Celtics aren’t just better with him on the court, they go from the 2nd best net rating in basketball with him in, to a bottom 5 team with him off the floor. And yeah, he is absolutely better than Lowry defensively, elite wing defenders are more valuable than elite defensive guards. I think most have a good idea of how high I am on Lowry, but Tatum is definitely the better player at this point.

I agree that my list is correct. Boston is full of frauds that are ripe for shamblesland. I don’t know why you think I’m trolling when I’ve been saying Raps in 4 and think they’re coming out of the East.

What makes him better defensively? He's got half a block on Lowry and Kyle gets almost a charge a game in the playoffs. It's all reputation and the fact that he guards wings so you see him up against Kawhi, LeBron, etc.. He's a very good man-to-man defender, yes, but as I said, Kyle orchestrates the team defense better than Jayson ever could. Kyle's the better leader, he's the better motivator, and he's better and getting his teammates into the game. Jayson Tatum is a better scorer, that's all. Last time I checked reducing who is better and worse to ppg is facile at best and disingenuous at worst. If he has that big an impact on your net rating then why are your other players ranked anywhere near ours? He's your MVP, and he's flashy. Pretty soon he won't look nearly as impressive.

The only one that's abundantly clear to me is Tatum at #1.

After that it's a bunch of really good players who can be ranked in a variety of ways depending on if you prefer apples or oranges.

Tatum as # 1 we all agree on.

Question is who will step up Walker, Brown who else can generate offense for Celtics ?

If Lowry plays raptors can focus on shutting down rest of the celtics and let Tatum get his points.

Raptors have better players 2-10.

I'm a huge Lowry guy but Tatum > Lowry. Tatum is the best player in the series no doubt in my mind.
