Really wish they kept Hart though. Can you imagine another rotation-level 3&D guy on this team (I guess Bradley was it but... yeah)

Yeah I really liked hart to, as did lots of people. Guess it was a sticking point.

Hart would have been nice, his strengh would be nice agains guys like kawhi, and he attacks closeouts so well and is aggressive

Btw: How has Kuz's D been throughout the series? Good enough that he can be put on Kawhi or a recovered George for stretches? What about Harden/SGA?

I just went to see the stats of the 2 teams after 4 games and the most surprising stats is that the lakers have one more 3 points make (46) than Portland (45) in this series and it's despite game 1!!!

Yeah that was great. Lebron really just owned them and could do whatever he wanted

The Raptors had no chance to win game 4 after this shot!

Given that nobody has even eclipsed 6k that's a huge achievement.

Durant is the only active player past 3k. He has 4,043 and will be 32 coming post season. Will need at least 4 post seasons scoring close to 500 points (meaning reaching Finals at least 3x times) just to crack 6k.

Davis is +84 in 87 minutes in the last 3 games
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

I know it's only been 4 games, but so far...

51% of his shots have come at the rim, career playoff high (46% in 2016)

74 FG% on those shots (5th best mark of career, 2018, 2017, 2014, 2012)

Pretty good for a team that consistently runs two bigs, he'll be just fine.

Might be able to sustain it if the mins are as down as they are throughout the run.

Crazy he’s doing this at this age, goats gonna goat though

0% of his shots from midrange.

—Zero shots from 10-16ft
—Zero shots from 16-22ft

Can’t be something random. A few layups here and there and decent FT shooting and he’s at 70% TS

I don't think he'll keep that up, at some point or another he'll need to take some of those shots just to keep better defensive teams honest. Will be interesting to watch how these things develop.

It is weird seeing him get low minutes. I swear even when the cavs were up 20 in the playoffs we’d always have to send lebron back in because we’d completely blow it without him.

So true lol. I think this is what happens when you have a real superstar to run with him instead of Kyrie and Decrepit DWade (apart from 2011)

Side note, listening to LeBron interviews makes me wish someone would think about me as often as LeBron thinks about the phrase "things of that nature"
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Another reason he can sit for longer stretches is because this team is truly an elite defensive team, first one he's played on since the early Heat days.

I think having the team built around defense more so than offense makes those non lebron minutes

For acceptance speeches, the go-to is "I'm just a kid from Akron, Ohio. I'm not even supposed to be here right now..." :D

Of the teams left I think the toughest matchups for us in order are:

1. Raptors
2. Rockets (if Westbrook is healthy)
3. Clippers
4. Celtics
5. Bucks
6. Heat
7. Jazz
8. Mavericks
9. Nuggets
10. Thunder
11. Magic

The top 5 teams are really the only ones I'm concerned about. Toronto and Houston are just really difficult matchups imo given how Toronto defends superstars using their athleticism and Nurse's scheme and given how Houston shoots the three and how Harden/Westbrook present issues. Clips, Celtics, and Bucks are going to be hard to beat but I at least feel better about those potential series given the personnel.

Raptors at #1?

They've looked good all season, but when the games tighten up, I think they'll falter a bit. Lakers would have the 2 best players in the series. When's the last time a team ever lost with the 2 best players in the series?

2004 finals? And Kobe kept shooting too much that series compared to Shaq.

Rockets/Clippers are the most dangerous teams IMO. I think the Lakers are certs if they get to the finals.
