I think it was pretty clear that Dallas would likely get a strong reaction from LAC today. Also got to remember the Clippers also went up 22pts in the 2nd quarter of the last game as well.

But I doubt Kawhi will let them come back in this one.

Kinda feel like Dallas was resigned to losing this road game and rested KP with that in mind

Morris is such a dirty POS you are up 30 and stepping on Doncic's ankle... seriously... Harrell did the same thing the other game.

I have a feeling that Luka's peak will be next 2-3 years. He can become better at shooting I suppose, but he pretty much relies on a low% step back 3s to get the shot off, so I don't know how much he'll be better at it. Other than that I don't see a whole lot of room to grow, I just don't see it. He's a big dude with limited athleticism and foot speed. His skills are top notch already.

With that, Mavs need to determine if KPoz is the right No2 guy for Luka rather quickly imo. Might need someone who's more durable to take the pressure off Luka instead of pulling no-show like this. Don't wanna waste his prime years sitting around buddy because Miami Heat with AD and OP Idalo is coming.

The Clippers sure have a handful of unlikable characters.

Clippers are the worst type of guys they'll pump their chest and talk trash now with Porzigis out, Luka hobbled and their team up by 30 but they aren't saying nothing when they getting they ass handed to them.

He's almost playing at an MVP level now as a not in peak shape, not efficient scorer at age 21. A 30 yo, in shape Luka going against a mostly younger league of players will be more efficient. Luka doesn't rely on speed or athleticism so his skills wont diminish much with age. Barring injury problems I don't see Luka slowing down any time soon.

A bunch of frontrunners.

It's comical cause outside of Kawhi none of them hasn't won jack.

Yeah I don't see a huge drop off in his game going forward either. My main point is that he's almost as good as it gets, and that Mavs don't need to wait around for a chance to win it all with him. He's almost going toe to toe with Kawhi in terms of overall impact on the game but he is on an inferior team. I think what's going to happen in the next few years, if he keeps this up, is that NBA players keep trying to rough him up because that's the only way to affect his game. And Luka is also always all over the place trying hardest to do anything to win games, and it's pretty obvious it's taxing his body already at young age. I think his future is bright regardless, but I'd also have some sense of urgency to get him there.

Maybe he's tired MOS? There's got to be a lot of toll on his body.. it makes sense to simplify his game. It's still good for wut 37 ppg on good efficiency :dontknow:

Yeah, he's always tired when you need him. That's a known fact

That's fine, he's already a top 3 offensive player.

I am pro BLM. But boycotting and going home won't help that much. Sure it will create a momentary media attention to it but it won't last. It's an election year with a pandemic. Those two things will naturally be the top media stories no matter. And as we get closer to November they will dominate the news cycle.
Leaving now just adds to the financial damage and you can be assured the owners will rip apart the CBA and force one that hurts players interest long-term.
I am biased because selfishly I want them to finish the playoffs. But trying to look at it as objectively as possible I see Players loosing more than gaining if the playoffs ended because of boycotts. If they really want to make a change, they got to do what other political groups do. Organize, raise money to get people who agree with them elected.
