I agree. Not sure how THIS accomplishes anything but I like it nonetheless.

You think they asked Orlando before the game and they declined so Milwaukee just did it alone?

Calling them protesters is laughable, however homie shouldn’t be walking the streets with a long rifle.

Gotcha. I'll just call them humans.

Not just Blake, but the 2 humans who were killed last night by another human who thought he could take the law into his own hands.

not like thats what the protester humuns were doing...

Buildings can be rebuilt. A dude was shot 7 times in the back in front of his kids while other officers watched. No attempt at any other type of de-escalation. People SHOULD be burning things to make sure this doesn't ever happen again and the officer(s) lose their jobs and get charged with attempted murder.

The shooter last night wasn't arrested on the spot which basically shows that PD departments are not listening at all.

Yeah, it seems like if the other games aren't played today then Silver asks how many days they need and what can they do from the bubble to get things restarted.

If the other games play - then it seems like the Magic will get the W for the game today.

I find it amazing how often the response to a protest, in any form, is "this isn't going to force the change. What's the point?"

The point of protest is to bring attention to the issues you care about and hope that enough protest and enough disruption and awareness will result in change. This will undoubtedly not be the catalyst that results in meaningful change. It's not like Congress, the President, etc are going to see this and go "Oh damn! We need to act NOW!". But the hope is that this will add to the collective protest across the country and help inch meaningful change forward. Will it? Hopefully.

Buildings can be rebuilt but the people that own those buildings who are likely fighting for the same thing lives are ruined now. Insurance claims don’t cover riots or acts of civilian outcry.

Did you see the video of them trying to arrest him and then he resists? I’m totally with you that he shouldn’t have been shot but some details are being left out.

Huge respect to the Bucks. This takes balls and they’re using the platform they have courageously.

F*ck basketball. I stand with them.

So the magic are gonna be the only team that had no idea about teams boycotting? Or had any inclination of potential boycotting themselves? Or talking to the bucks about doing it jointly? Lord the life of a magic fan.

Good for the bucks and the organization.

OKC has Chris Paul. Lakers have LeBron. They won't be playing tonight. Nor should they.
