While I think he can sometimes be a bit of a provocateur, he definitely said some important things in this video imo. I do think healthy debate and disagreement is in many ways dying here in the states. Instead of trying to find common ground and come together on something, it's more so about making the other person look stupid or ridiculing them for their beliefs. Everyone has their thought bubbles, as he put it, and I do think those bubbles can breed hatred and resentment towards people outside of it.
It's sad too because instead of hearing Whitlock out in this video, many will just write him off as an uncle tom or a sellout because as a black man here in the states he is automatically supposed to vote a certain way or feel a certain way about a political or social issue instead of formulating his on viewpoint on things.
I think that in itself is incredibly insulting.
