Very sad. If there's been any word on the cause of death I haven't heard it yet.

He was a big part of our team in those first couple of years we were good after Hill left. Remember him fondly as a defender and nice stretch big. Almost like a proto-Sheed for our team, history with Portland and all.

He seemed like a real solid guy when he was with us. I just wish he was younger so he could have been on the 2004 team

I thought Uncle Cliffy was immortal as long as he didn't take a rebound meant for Big Ben.

Seriously, sheesh. He was one of the good guys, went down way too young.

Sad to read the news. Will always remember Uncle Cliffy being that pro that helped turn the tide after Grant Hill walked.
