Leeds United have officially signed Rodrigo from Valencia for a club-record $35 million.
The 29-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the club.
“Since the first time Victor (Orta, director of football) talked to me I knew I wanted this new challenge with Leeds. I will be working with one of the best coaches (Marcelo Bielsa) in football, he has done important things in different clubs and I’m excited to learn,\" said Rodrigo.
Rodrigo, who has been capped 22 times for Spain, played in the Premier League during the 2010-11 season.
