How dumb are all the "experts" gonna look when Milwaukee runs through Miami?

Post#1 » by GSP » Mon Aug 31, 2020 10:18 pm

this is insane. Ive never seen a deserved 1 seed with a top 3 player and Mvp/Dpoy ever disrespected like this

Miami is a good fun team but they have very little chance of taking this series

I don't know if Miami will pull it out, but I think that the experts are basing this on the fact that Miami just appeared to match up really well against Milwaukee, both on paper and during their regular season meetings. They have one of the most credible Giannis defenders in the league in Adebayo and they have shooters who can ensure that the Milwaukee defense just can't pack the paint.

Given their success this year, I'd still probably pick Milwaukee if it was a straight up wager, but I'd probably put the series at 60/40, which is much closer than most similarly seeded matchups, esp. ones involving a team as good as Milwaukee.

Its not like the Bucks are full of playoff monsters. And that Orlando series didnt exactly give their fans a reason to be super confident

The series against the magic were just a warmup for the Bucks.....The playoffs start now for them.I don't put huge stock in this serie.

ya. And then the Lakers came in and dominated the Blazers. Bucks have looked sloppy all bubble. Im not saying they cant win a title still, but theres obviously cause for concern.

And Lakers have Lebron, who's a proven playoff monster. Bucks dont have anyone thats shown they can consistently dominate the playoffs like him

Bucks and Lakers both lost game 1 and then backdoor swept in dominating fashion

I don’t ever take these so-called experts’ points of view to mean much, but honestly I’ve been saying that Miami is a very real potential matchup problem for the Bucks for a while now.

Like you said, Miami are the jazz of the east. Bucks are winning this no question.

As dumb as the refs who let Giannis run to the rim with 3 steps?

There was nothing dominating about the Bucks last 4 games against a 38 win team missing 2 of it's 4 best players and multiple rotation guys

It will be a close series. I think both teams could average 110 points per game against each other.
