NBA approved offense.

Can we go toe to toe with this kind of offense?

Jimmy wasn’t even this good and effective in those PnRs.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

The fact that we don't have Jimmy Butler is what is making me borderline say **** this team for good.

Its criminal we let jimmy go

And this series yet again showing defense is all about effort..got korver out here playing good D

So sick of hearing about what guys we can sign or trade for because of their defense.

Get shot makers. And ball handlers. Sick of anything other than that. Teach defense. U cant teach offensive talent

Butler is not some superstar. The defensive intensity has increased in the fourth quarter and both teams have trouble scoring. Giannis is getting carried by his teammates.

It's just that the Sixers lack any perimeter creation to such an extreme degree that people hoped that Korkmaz and Shake would save us.

The the most all-encompassing solution is to get ball handlers that can defend.

All the big shots he hit for us. Game winners. Clutch performances in losses (OKC/TOR) and we chose Tobias and Al and Richardson.

Fireable offense.

You are wrong. Ball handlers and shooting. Teach defense. Its obvious as hell but you dont want to see it

Even if jimmy isn't a top 5 player in this league, he exposed giannis so bad.

You need players that can create his own shot in playoffs, that's how it is and thats why we ain't winning **** with simmons and embiid

Butler hit soem shots since i wrote it and made me look bad. Still it is the first game of the series. It's not like it's the fist playoff series of Butler, we know pretty much who he is and that's a tier 2 player.

As i said with the lack of preimeter creation on this team everyone looks like a god in comparison.

Sadly, you're mistaken

A guys ability to score off the dribble and a guy's capability of guarding opposing ball handlers are not teachable. You can always buff shooting if there's a good enough base. That's a skill achieved through repetition.

You're right about prioritizing ball handlers, but misguided if you think a bunch of defensive sieves that can score off the dribble is a real solution. You need to find real impact players, aka guys that can score off the dribble and guard his position. Any superstar you can think of worth a damn could do both of these things.

You need a few good switchable defenders. Not 5. Defense is the ultimate effort and teachable trait. Ask any coach of any sport and they will agree with me. I know because I have coached basketball and football(nothing special Im not trying to pretend otherwise) and we won by simply getting effort and proper positioning and understanding on defense.

Its the same at any level. Obviously physical specimens have a higher ceiling but its all effort and coaching

He might not be a superstar, but he is so much better than Tobias and Horford.

Rockets are number 1 playoff defense and they start 5 perimeter players

Again. All effort. Dont need height or length or hops. U need effort and positioning

What the Rockets and the Celtics are doing is playing a fully switchable line up (like the Heat with Bum at 5) which kills the pnr game of the other team. I suspect the defensive efficiency comes mainly from that and not from the effort or some complicated defensive schemes.

I hope Jimmy leads the Heat to ECF finals so our managment gets shamed to death. We knew Butler was a closer and we prefered to choose Tobias who is as unclutch as it gets( we knew it in the toronto series last year).

In the playoffs you gotta have a bucket getter.

Embiid is my guy but there is really no point in doing that unless he plans to ask for a trade. What happened cant change now and these posts are making things worse.
