Still too early to celebrate but I have never been a believer of playoff Giannis personally. He still needs a jumper to be truly dominant. He can get it done against weak defenses sure.

Jimmy is the closest to Kawhi in terms of just willing his team to win. He went toe to toe with Kawhi last year and for numerous stretches outplayed him. Before the shot Jimmy stole the ball and got a layup without calling a timeout to almost force OT. He is the most slept on player in the league

Versatility is so important in the playoffs. The Bucks are really really great at what they do... But they're one of the least versatile teams in the NBA lead by a best player who can't create offense for himself down the stretch and a coach who can't adjust. It makes them easy to gameplan for and it's going to be the reason they lose this series.

They haven't needed a plan B because plan A was so good.

They're gonna do what Moreyball does in the playoffs, get crushed by physicality

Easily better than Iverson, a 35 year old Karl Malone, or Westbrook.

What killed Giannis tonight wasn't his lack of a jumper it was his lack of a handle. He tried to take over the game late and get his team back into it and he was getting to the rim easily but kept turning the ball over on his way there. If he was an elite ball handler and playmaker I think that would be good enough to be an effective 4th quarter player even without the jumper but he can't do what Jimmy Butler did and dominate the ball on offense because he's too turnover prone and can't make plays for others well enough.

Lol you don't have to double down on a bad prediction. I still got the Bucks winning this but they sure as hell are not running through Miami. Miami's defense is too good to not take at least 1 more game.

Jinx thread.

People need to let a series play out at least past 1 game before doing a victory lap.

Yeah it's kinda weird but the Bucks seem to lack guys who can simply dribble the ball at a high level.

Miami built the wall on the Bucks. force the bucks' best player to give up the ball. Miami has the personnel to do it. you relying on Lopez and Middleton? LMAO good luck.

Bucks shot 50% overall, 47% from 3. Heat as a team shot 46% and 38% from 3 and still won and you somehow think it's a bad sign for the Heat.

Bucks could very well still win but they won't "run through" the Heat.

Bucks were 14-26 in FTs as well, they make half of their misses, they're not forced to foul and it's a tied game.

I've seen this movie before

Giannis shot 4/12 on free throws.

Don't think Brook Lopez will be scoring 24 on 80% shooting either. This game was a bad sign alright, just not for the Heat.
