Embiid is my guy but there is really no point in doing that unless he plans to ask for a trade. What happened cant change now and these posts are making things worse.

He cant praise a fellow NBA player?

His previous twit was IF... It is clear that he would have preferred for the team to have kept Butler, however and regardless of whether that decision was right or wrong this is a fact that cant change now. So i do dont see the point of these twits. It is harmful to the team and it is not helpful for him to think like that. His concerns should be how to lead his team, not be sad that Butler plays for a different team.

Embiid subtweets the ownership all the time.

Embiid is letting it be known he is upset with management. Don't see any issue with that. He has every right to be upset with management.

When heat traded for crowder and Iggy I had a feeling they will make the finals.
If they keep playing like they did tonight they’re going there.

I don’t see how Embiid’s tweets are helping him any. They’re passive aggressive and make him look weak as a leader, riding the next man’s coattails. Jimmy’s the star of the Heat, and your team just got swept by our greatest rival. Just come out and say management needs to fix this mess, or trade me.

The way I see Embiid he needs someone to guide him. And he’s a hard person to guide because he only look up to a few people. One of which is Jimmy.

I had to say this but I think not having “veteran leadership” is biting out ass right now. It’s true in Keith Pompey’s article that our guys are treated like stars from day 1 and have lost the sense of accountability.

For instance Ben. When he’s asked to shoot he’ll respond that he’s an allstar.

I know this doesnt make that much sense as an outsider but these guys are living in a much different world than ours. There is a disconnect.

Brandon Ingram won the most improved award BTW. Wouldnt be surprised if Fultz will win it next year

He is giving jimmy his props. They are obviously not only former teamates but friends and Im sure jimmy would be doing the same if the roles were reversed. If it embarrasses management so be it, they deserve it.

They may deserve it but i dont see how it helps the team. If Embiid has a problem with the management he should talk to Brand and the owners. I also dont see how idolising Butler helps him grow as a leader.

Before Embiid blames the management’s performance he better make sure he looks hard at his performance first.

You're using that quote on Embiid rather than Elton/management, who have been actively throwing people under the bus? :nonono:

GM who chose Tobias **** Harris on the max contract over Jimmy is still there.

I just hope they trade Embiid from this joke of a franchise as soon as possible, he deserves better.

Let's pray that the Rockets get eliminated and Harden becomes available.

Embiid has to become a better leader but he may not be that guy. They traded all the leaders away remember.

I’ve been following this team here and on social media. I dont hear the management blame others for their fault.

If you listen to EB he even admitted that he is “failing”.

And if im wrong, then both parties should look at themselves before they start blaming others. Because it’s not like Biid is free from faults. One of the reasons we struggled in the regular season because he missed a lot of games and he declined a lot on defense.

Then since the 2018 playoffs, even with Jimmy and JJ, he showed poor conditioning that lead to some crazy bad games. For the last 3 playoff runs, the common theme in losing games down the stretch has been Biid turning the ball over in crunch time.

We chose Ben over Jimmy.

No way we can play Ben, Jimmy and Biid with three unreliable to poor shooters on the court.

Tobi didn’t have ang issues with Jimmy.

I think you can even have a better team with Jimmy, Tobi and Biid than Jimmy, Ben and Biid.

Having Jimmy means less PG role for Ben. Remember how things gets chirpy when Jimmy asks more PG role by demanding more PnR. This is the same guy who said he wants to play PG while playing alongside Derrick Rose.

Parting shots at Brett for not making the roster work and leaks placing blame on him for Jimmy leaving. Deflecting blame onto analytics and the collaborative effort. You must not be paying close enough attention if you've missed what's happened so far.

As for Embiid, he has pretty consistently taken responsibility for his own short comings as well as the team's when they don't perform. He's not out here blaming his trainer for his conditioning.

I think Tobias lowkey did have issues with Jimmy. One of his interviews after he signed his contract made me think he was basically saying it was him or Jimmy, because he was not getting the touches he felt he needed.

It's funny how playing PG was an issue and now Ben is resigned to being a Point Forward. This team seems to be always a season late on doing things.

And looking back in past drafts if we had picked a PG high in the draft it would have caused a conflict with Ben at that time.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)
