Masai and Bobby are going to have to get to work this offseason. We need a primary scorer bad; Pascal was never that guy. He is a great utility guy and a second option, but he cannot create his own offense at an elite level. Frankly maybe its time for a rebuild - no shame in that after being world champions. See what we can get for Lowey, Powell etc.

This is assuming no one is untouchable. Assuming Fred, OG and Pascal are off the table, you are basically looking at Dipo


Norm is the only tradable salary and it is tough. If you want some half court scoring but not necessarily a #1 option, you are looking at guys like Will Barton

If Pascal improves and Dipo is like 90% of what he was, that team is a finals contender

Dipo is a huge gamble right now and looks like a shell of his former self. It'd be intriguing if we run a 2 guard lineup of Beal & Dipo. Would be a massive upgrade over Lowry & FVV assuming Dipo returns to all-star form.

If Simmons gets traded, he'd be packaged with Horford's awful contract. That's about 70 mill in cap which is a no beuno as Horford has 3 years left on his contract

Neither Milsap nor Plumlee are signing for the vet min. We'd be lucky to get Milsap for the MLE

We've gotta go all in on Beal. Whatever it takes to get him. We have an amazing support cast, this roster is perfectly built with complimentary pieces, great defenders. But we have got to get an absolutely ice cold scorer and Beal would be the perfect fit. Sign and trade FVV and pieces for Beal? I'd give up anything not named OG to get him.

Personally wouldn't touch Oladipo. Most concerning thing about his play is that he's coming back from an injury of course, but on top of that his shot selection all year was absolutely atrocious. Whoever maxes him is going to really regret it.

I honestly love the fit. Him and OG both played on IU back in the day. He is a dynamic two-way player who is a depressed asset just like Kawhi was.

I always think it takes a full year to fully recover from an injury so he should return back to form in December. I'd give up Lowry plus prospects to get him. Lowry is an institution for Toronto, but if they are likely investing in FVV then getting a true slasher like Dipo makes sense.

Indy would likely be interested in a strong veteran leader like Lowry, especially since Dipo is in his final year. If Toronto offers young players like Terence Davis it might be a homerun deal for Indy.
