You’re not going to like this, but wasn’t he injured the year we went to 7 games and the Rockets missed like 247 threes in the second half of game 7?

Here’s the part you won’t like....if Paul wasn’t injured the Rockets may have knocked us out.

And had Iguodala not missed 4 games the Warriors would have won in 5. Can't play that game one way and not the other.

Maybe. But Iggy missed more games in that series and Kerr said emphatically it wouldn't have gone 7 if Iggy played those games.

omg the rest of the league is almost unwatchable from a TEAM BASKETBALL point of view. Everyone is cellebrating these 1 on 5 offensive outbursts based on step backs and guard play. But it all makes me soooo grateful for the Warriors system/style of ball. As ANYONE actually seen a tic tac to pass any time in these playoffs? Boston and Toronto...omg....walk it up...pass to big guy...go get the ball back....try and go one on one....awful.

And and..."old man shouts at clouds" ;)

But seriously....Warriors hoops is spectacular compared to what we are seeing this year.

There's been some competitive moments.

At least only one series was a sweep in the first round.

Second round may be where the higher seeds establish dominance.

Except maybe Miami giving Milwaukee everything they bargained for, if not outright win.

You also have to admit that the Celtics and raptors play good defense. And good defense usually forces the offense to go 1 on 1

There's been some exciting and close games and I think the team defenses are starting to tighten up now the rust has shaken off in this bubble.

Also a reminder that the Warriors were just too damn good the past couple years lol

The Warriors version of basketball was the "the beautiful game" versus the rest of the league. The blend of talent, basketball IQ and unselfishness during the run was unique. But there will be another team that comes along and the pundits will debate. I am just glad that the Warriors are part of the discussion.

K...Miami is the first team I've been impressed with both offensively and defensively. Actually remind me of the Warriors a bit.

BTW....Giannis isn't an NBA god in case we all thought he was.

Clearly he has much less game in half court and situations where he can't dunk on people's heads lol.

I still am in love...lol...but IMO he's not at Durant's level.

Right...no...not saying games haven't been tight...competitive...There have been amazing individual efforts. But the style of ball has been ugly.

I can’t believe Chris Paul passed on that possession. His legacy needed to take and make that shot. Not sure if he turtled up or what.

OKC and the ROX both fell apart the last couple of minutes of that game, so sloppy.

Two game 7s, each decided by a point, in the first round.

I don't know you wouldn't think Denver or Houston has much of a chance in the next round, being forced to play 7 games.

Now I want to see Harden get red hot.

Harden was a superstar stopping Lu Dort on the shot and dodging the attempt to bounce the ball out off him. There could've been a foul on Adams, but it would've been a tough call. OKC had a chance to win because of Covington's missed FT, but the Rockets blew up OKC's last play. I wasn't able to watch either game today, but it's nice to see the Bucks lose again. Jimmy Buckets came through with clutch FTs. Come to the Warriors, Giannis!

The jazz were getting razzed hard yesterday after being up 3-1, so these close endings to gm 7s are killers.

Maybe OKC will be next with James Harden stopping Lu Dort and the Rockets blowing up the Thunder's last shot.

in the final moments he looked like westbrock in game 6: 1 turnoverl, a bucket, 1 block suffered, as you pointed out the ball of the game passed for a dort's prayer. but above all (a classic, what makes him as overrated as few others ) with less than a minute to play, rockets up 1 point, with the team that needs a stop, he goes for the flop .... then the ball is recovered by adams with a big diving, but paul had gone for the flop.... this is chris paul ladies and gentlemen.

I don't know which of the remaining western teams I want to win least. Lakers probably. Ideally the Nuggets make the finals.

I was torn....wanted to see the choke job by Harden "rewarded".

However, I KNOW that OKC wouldn't have a prayer against LA so at least we can see a good series next round.

btw...on the Harden block. Drives me F'ing nutz how a guy can choke for 6 seasons....clearly "leading" his team to playoff collapses over and over again...makes ONE BLOCK on a rookie who is hesitant to take the final shot....and he's getting credit for saving the series lol.
