I think LA can legit go big in this series, HOU's shooters really haven't been that great in the bubble.

PJ Tucker is going to have to guard both Lebron and AD....good luck to him

Just came to post this. Weird that 538 is so bullish on Houston. They went from #1 team preseason to middle of pack, now supposedly will beat Lakers and be at the top again?

Houston honestly scared me the most. They played the Laker's very well in the regular season. Lebron and the Lakers were too predictable telegraphing post-ups to AD nonstop which led to turnover after turnover. Laker's just need to play their regular game and the height advantage will naturally play out as an advantage on the boards. Defend the 3 pointer and things should hopefully work out in our favor. Small ball can be an advantage and I hope the Laker's can adjust and matchup with their small ball lineup as well.

As I mentioned in my latest thread, Houston is way better match for Lakers than OKC. Still not favored though at all to me.

Lakers are going to turn it over a ton just like in the regular season. Announcers will be just as bewildered as if they don't remember the last times they matched up. Rockets in 6. Lakers can't go small.

What’s funny about the guy you quoted is what the hell are McGee/Dwight gonna do?! LA isn’t dumb enough to go to them in the post and Tucker can box both men out.

Only way Lakers win this series if the Refs bail them out because of lebron crying.

AD and Lebron should actually average 65-70, easily, on good efficiency.

If you say that than Houston can say there not throwing the corpse of Melo or a 6’4 Trent on lebron either

Can’t see rockets winning more than 1 game. They barely made it out of the first round and it came down to the dying second to even advance.

That plus the lack of size against the lakers will be too much. Lakers in 5

No you are putting 6’5 PJ Tucker on AD. yipppeee scary. Or the corpse of Jeff Green. And we get to watch 5 games of Westbrook blowing shots around the rim, turnovers and bricking 3s without a defender within 10 feet of him.

Blazers play traditional 1-5

Lakers going to get picked apart on mismatches on the perimeter but they can't take their bigs off the floor to stop the bleeding because they can't small ball either.

We lack wing defenders but have plenty of bodies to throw at Harden, KCP, Caruso, Danny Green will all take turns, with Caruso being the best he has to stop fouling though.
I believe they will go small early and play Caruso - KCP - Danny Green or Kuzma - Lebron - AD and make AD guard Westbrook so he can stay at the rim.

I foresee 50 + 3 pointers and 2 golden gate bridges built via donated bricks.

I hate to break it to you but AD and Dwight are great on the perimeter. And when the Lakers go AD at the 5 the Rockets have no answer. LeBron and AD will get to the rim with ease with no shot blocking to stop them. Not to mention the Rockets are just a really dumb, weak minded team. It’s going to be a very quick series.

Why can't they go small ? AD is the perfect small ball center :banghead:
