Praying that Bud sticks with Marvin over Ersan for the remainder of this series.

Don't need Zombie Franco going off on us. No bueno.

Can't believe we are up 2-0 against the Bucks. Haven't been this excited for Heat basketball since 13".

Goran might have secured his jersey retirement ceremony with those games tbh. With him playing like this, we basically have 3 all stars level players in our starting 5.

Man these time zones are killing me, I get 4 hours of sleep after I get off from work at 5pm, I watch the games from 1:30 am till 4:30am (long ass games) then I get 3 more hours of sleep before I start work at 8am.

But hey it's all worth it and the Sunday game is early for me.
We going for the sweeeep!

Ok. I'm fully on board the heat bandwagon for the rest of the season.

Wiltside wrote:Some weird stats in Game 2...

Middleton was a +18, Lopez a +12 and Korver a +11 in 10 minutes. Clearly, they're shooters are troubling us. However, they were only 7/25 from downtown, so our 3pt defense was pretty good. we gave up 16 threes in game 1, so a big focus was obviously given to give them tougher looks. Middleton has probably been our toughest cover this series so far - he's hit some tough shots. We need to get more physical with him and make his life a little harder.

We slowed Bledsoe down considerably in the 2nd half. Think he had 14 at the half and finished with 16. Some of that would be rust and lack of match fitness, but it was important for the W.

Will be interesting to see what Milwaukee does to combat our 3pt attack. We know they prefer to protect the paint and give up a lot of threes, but not sure that defensive choice will get the job done vs our 3 for all. We took 45 threes in Game 2, hitting 17. More than half our shots came from downtown. And we still got the dub. Bud strikes me as a stubborn guy who is going to back his team and strategy in, so we have to continue to make them pay.

We did a better job of controlling turnovers in game 2, giving up the ball 10 times down from 16 in game 1.

Giannis had 29/14/3 but it still felt like we controlled him relatively well. Need to continue to take advantage of his aggressive defensive tendencies to get him in foul trouble, and keep moving our feet defensively to draw charges.

Out of those 29 points, at least 10 were freebies by the refs. We are doing great on Giannis

Our free throw shooting has been very good as well, remember last game the Bucks threw everything at us and they still lost, even with the help of the refs ( this is a fact) a lot of garbage calls killing our momentum and getting them back in the game. I am very confident we will send them packing.

LMAO

NBA games have become increasingly longer in time, particularly due to excessive reply review that receives widespread criticism.

I expect spoelstra to possibly start giving this herro kid more minutes, feel like hes been playing the best out of all our shooters and as he gets more minutes his confidence should grow.

His mins have bumped from 27mpg in regular szn to 32mpg in the playoffs. 32 is a lot for a player coming off the bench and I think that's probably good amount for now. he's a high energy shooter/scorer you have to find right mins for him to be most efficient imo

I expect him to start at some point in his career (probably next year) and he can probably play 35-38 mpg idk

As I expected OP favorite DJJ is the best player on this team. KO next. I didn't expect anything less from Nunn he's been a pure disastee since bubble.

So is anyone still opposed to a Nunn trade anymore if the right player is available?

Media are somewhat writing off milwaukee after that 0-2 start, they're playing with their backs to the wall, you got to think that they will try to prove everyone they're still in the game.

I fully expect to outcoach them once again, but it's going to be a tough one.
But I really like our chances up 2-0.
