I think we should hope that OKC wins and Harden becomes available. I think he is the shortest path to a title from where we are now.

Would he demand out after they just traded for his buddy Westbrook?

He could demand out or the Rockets might decide to trade him. They have done everything they could and they have no more assets to improve the team. If they get eliminated in the first round there is no real point in bringing the same team back, they will be worse next year. Harden might also want to go somewhere else and try to win a title.

I generally dislike Miami as a franchise, but love what they get there. Since I like to choose one team to support if we are not in, it will be Miami for me this playoff. I loved Jimmy's interview after the game. Why oh why we lost him :( ...

Chris Paul was low key this season. He actually played like a star with his raw numbers and superstar with how he impacted the game (5th highest RPM).

Chris Paul is what we all dream Ben Simmons to be like.

My thoughts after the Rox-OkC game
- Having multiple guards who can create plays and make shots is the idea set-up down the stretch in the play-offs.
- This playoffs may pretty much be the nail in the coffin for the bigs. But let’s see how the rockets frontcourt would fare against the Lakers bigs.
- CP3 still has it. I also think he has his say on how the team should play. I have that much respect for CP3. Such as cerebral player. For instance, in the last play he has the presence of mind to call for the time-out.
- Rockets were lucky that Eric Gordon chose a good game to become alive.

My thoughts:

I don't care what anyone says. This 3 ball basketball that rockets play is absolutely horrible IMHO. They were lucky to get a win. Westbrook is rusty as hell and he needs to shake it off if they are going to make the next series competitive.

With 4 months rest CP3 is the man. I can see how he could get on players nerves though. He thinks he knows every call and what it should be. And the sad part is he is usually right. SGA had a baptism through fire this playoffs especially come crunch time. He made some bad shots and some bad decisions, that's just how you grow. This exwouperience will make him better.

A healthy CP3 could be the start of moving in the right direction for next season for this team. CP3 directing the show on the court would be great.

Steve Nash is your choice for the Nets coach? I'm left scratching my head. A great player but is he ready to lead that franchise with KD and Kyrie in NYC to the promised land? Because that is what is going to be expected.

They obviously think he's the next Steve Kerr. Let's see. Nash is obviously a super smart guy, but star players very rarely translate into good or great coaches.

The East is going to be loaded next year:

Milwaukee
Brooklyn
Boston
Miami
Toronto (Gasol and FVV gone?)

Indiana and Orlando as pesky low-seed opponents. We’ve got some work to do this offseason.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Could see Milwaukee trying to poach CP3. Pretty much any targets we've wanted recently have gotten scooped up by Milwaukee.

Even if Milwaukee has peaked, their regular season record is still going to be impressive (and likely better than ours).
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Last year Milwaukee were 2-0 and lost to Toronto, I predict them to win in 7 games this time.

Fire Brad Stevens for letting them give up that shot.

And let me add to this that Stephen A is an Ass. There are many times you can bring up the idea of white privilege. But this is not one of them last week Luca was not white because he was born in Europe and now Steve Nash is white because he was born in Canada? And wasn't Mark Jackson Jason Kidd and Derek Fisher and Magic Johnson given the same opportunity?

Let me get back to your point I think you're right. Steve Nash probably is a great basketball mind but let's see how that translates into being a great coach. Because he's being brought in not to win the conference not to win the East but to win a title.
