he needs to give Tatum some space and back off like a feet.

let him beat you with his jumpshot before u let him drive by every time.

at least he didn't rush that much in the second half. he got some great looks with patience

He is giving the lane to Tatum who had no problem making that extra pass when we collapse on him all series.

I don't wanna see a single more post up from him the rest of the way... Stay in the damn gym working on your shot so you become a threat out there and open up the rest of your game..

He played well in the second half. Very disciplined. Another exceptional game for Siakam on the defensive end. He was locking up Tatum and Brown. Offensively, he started to make the right reads and wasn't forcing anything in that fourth quarter. Went with the flow of the offense. Made two beautiful passes to FVV for the 3balls which got us right back in the game.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

He'll never be worse than Demar in the playoffs simply because he's a great defender. He was exceptional on that end tonight.

Wrong thread! Siakam played well in the 2nd half!
Yes he has struggled especially against Jalen Brown!
Give credit to Boston for an outstanding scouting on him!
What Siakam needs to do is to avoid those silly touchy fouls especially early in the game! In the off season, he needs to work on his mid range game as well as face up the basket! Not worried about him though!

ill keep it positive after this game however. after a few buckets pascal gained some rhythm and got some confidence back.

actually gave lowry and fvv some help...so did powell tho.

however youd expect much more from your first option.

Siakam played a lot better in the second half. My worry was that the raps wanted to leave the bubble and siakam’s full heart wasn’t into it. Anyway, he needs to get his head on straight and watch the film. They need to reset instead of wasting time with the post ups. He also needs to kick it out sooner to shift the defense. Biggest culprit continues to be Marc gasol not being able to hit anything.
I believe in Masai.

We're talking about the playoffs, right? Demar wasn't good in the playoffs. Siakam has been very bad on one end but great on the other. Demar was below-average on one end and unplayable on the other. I loved Demar the person. But he was hard to cheer for in the playoffs tbh. Our team defense is great because we no longer have a weak link who plays almost 40mins a game.

We woukd be up in this series had he performed to his average....

OG just took the pressure off Pascal

siakam just like demar derozan in 2017, baited us at the beginning of the season. demar in the beginning of that season played like an mvp-calibre player. same with pascal, he was playing lights out and looked like a top 10 player then all of a sudden, struggled and started to decline drastically ever since february, when he came back from injury. the only difference, demar wasnt drastically declining, he would just have alot of bad games but at times would follow it up with a stretch of incredible play. even in the playoffs demar had a few 30point games, and thats with a worst raps team. siakam is yet to score 30+ in the bubble ;/

This year I'd say he was our 2nd option behind Lowry. It's a little bit too much of a role to take on for him at this point in his career.

The regular season is one thing but the playoffs is another beast.

I just hope Masai keeps Fred. With Fred / OG / Siakam as our core at least we can hang onto the hope of signing a big free agent.

He had a higher usage rate than Lowry last year.

Sure, but Lowry has always been the guy.

Jaylen Brown is very good at fouling without fouling.
